Yes, everyone. The fall television season is now getting under way. We’ve all suffered through those long boring months with nothing on television but reality programming and some series on cable. True Blood’s season is coming to an end, and from what I’ve heard Hung wasn’t a bad series. Might need to head to my on demand to check that one out before it is pulled by HBO. The CW is ready to premiere two of its series tonight with season two of 90210 ready to start, and an all new Melrose Place ready to hit your small screen.

I was a fan of 90210 last year, but the series lost me a bit around mid-season. I finally managed to catch up on all that I missed from Summer going nuts to Ethan falling for her. Don’t forget Naomi falling for the bad boy only to have them both screwed over by her sister. Him, literally. In the midst of all that, Annie is labeled a narc and tossed out on her butt from Naomi’s prom party. This means revenge is needed as Annie decides to play her label and actually narc on the party. This all leads up to what is supposed to be a cliffhanger ending with Annie doing a hit and run.

As for Melrose Place, an all new set of tenants of twenty-somethings with their messed up lives are ready to move in and let us follow their loves. A familiar face or two are going to be around, and those behind the place are still trying to get Heather Locklear to make a big return as Amanda Woodward. No telling if she will do it, but I’m hoping she does.

If there is one girl becoming Hollywood’ It Girl right now, it is AnnaLynne McCord. She is rising to fame as one of the girl’s on CW’s new 90210, and she has this habit of hitting the beach every chance she gets. Trust me. We do not mind that she does that at all, especially since she has this fondness for tiny bikinis.

She hit the beach over the weekend, and that little trip produced these pictures. For fans of 90210 wondering just when the series will return with new episodes, you are in luck. After a nearly six week long holiday break, 90210 returns tonight with all new episodes. Check out these beach shots below!

TV.com: That Which We Destroy - Brenda and Kelly’s friendship takes a turn for the worse. Meanwhile, Sean moves in with the Wilson family, Naomi hangs with a new crowd, and Silver becomes jealous when a cheerleader pays a little too much attention to Dixon.

Recap & Review: Now we all know 90210 won’t win any awards. It isn’t television that makes you think too hard. It’s a simple fun soap opera type show where we are allowed into the lives of a few individuals each and every week. We see adults and teens deal with real life issues. Some are more dramatic than others. I’m sure not everyone has a son they didn’t know about that shows up at their daughter’s sweet sixteen birthday party. That is what happened last week, and now we are dealing with that aftermath along with Naomi and Annie calming down from their fight.

The party quickly comes to a close, and we meet Sean Cavanaugh, who turns out to be Harry and Tracy’s son. He is in the military, and he will be shipped out in a few week’s time. Tracy shows up, and we have one big happy family. Harry has to deal with his feelings knowing that he has a twenty-year old son he has never meant. His concern is on everyone else, but he is the one that needs to think of himself.

At school the next day, Harry tries to find time to talk to Sean by asking him to help out with the school lacrosse team. These two continue to get closer, and Grandma Wilson even gives Debbie some advice on how to deal with the situation. The family goes out to dinner, and when Tracy continues to put Harry down, Debbie speaks up and offers Sean a place to stay with them. An offer he accepts. He even comes to the first lacrosse came of the year, which Dixon isn’t too thrilled about. Dixon is bothered by Harry’s new son, and how much attention Harry is putting on him. He feels ignored. Something is odd here with Sean though.

Kelly also tries to help in her own way as she pulls Annie and Naomi in for a conference to help them deal with the changes in their family, but all they can talk about is their issue with Ethan. At every turn during the day, these two are making it a point to fight each other. They throw digs back and forth, and it is even surprising that Annie is throwing more Naomi’s way. This is something Ethan even notices. Once Annie is made aware of it, she decides to change her own behavior. She becomes school mascot.

With Naomi on the outs with everyone after the party, she now has to find a new group to associate with. She ends up trying to join the blended’s,  an older group who start to use her. She also tries to get closer to Ozzie by asking him a favor. He almost backs out on the favor though, which only causes her temper to let loose, and he does it anyway. Her payment for the favor is simple. He wants a kiss. She thinks its him he wants her to kiss, but he wants her to kiss the school mascot. Naomi has no idea Annie the school mascot though.

As for Kelly and Brenda, there is something going on there as well. Brenda has stopped returning Kelly’s calls, so she goes one of Brenda’s performance. She is taking some of her own advice here. The next day, these two meet for lunch, and Brenda says she has just been busy. She does this right before she tells Kelly that they have nothing in common anymore. She thinks they should end their friendship. Kelly then tells her to go. However, at the school game, she gets a call about Brenda being in the hospital. She blacked out on stage, and Kelly is her emergency contact. The two talk, and we find out the real reason Brenda ended their friendship. Brenda slept with Ryan. This is where we see Kelly walk out.

And this is where we see 90210 come to an end. Until after the holidays anyway. We are going to be left hanging until then. There were two scenes in this episode that stood out to me this week. One was Kelly’s conference with the girls where she compared friendship with girls to a plant. It had me laughing out loud. The other was the scene with the grandmother and Debbie. I really enjoy when these two are together in a scene, especially when it is just the two of them alone. But that’s not the only surprise in store for the Wilson family. An unexpected visit from Harry’s biological son, Sean, throws a wrench into their happy family dynamic.

Recap & Review: Another episode of 90210, and this week we see the return of Kelly Taylor to Beverly Hills. She left a few episodes back to go see Dylan in Wyoming. This left Silver alone in the house to cause all kinds of chaos, which we saw her do. Dixon was always there, and then we have last episode’s party. Fans of Tori Spelling are still wondering if she will make an appearance on the new 90210, and they have a small glimmer of hope. She will be appearing on another CW series, Smallville. Could a 90210 appearance be far behind. We’ll have to wait and see.

Last week, Naomi found Ethan and Annie kissing in an empty classroom, and this is the exact moment where we pick up.  The buzz around school is all about Ryan and Kimberly. He has been let go on paid leave after one of the students tried to blackmail him. When Naomi sees everyone talking, she thinks everyone knew about Annie and Ethan but her. She quickly learns this isn’t the case though, and she keeps the information to herself. She’s going to play a little game with Annie. She even takes Annie out for a little retail therapy cause she also finds out her parents divorce is being filed that day.

With Kelly’s return, she is left to wonder about Ryan and Kimberley. She finds it hard to believe that Ryan slept with a student after she dated him herself.  She questions Harry, and she even calls in Kimberley for a counseling session, but she doesn’t get any closer to any real answers. As for Harry, he has taken over Ryan’s class for the time being, but the main focus of this episode is away from school as Annie turns sixteen. Naomi interferes and somehow gets Annie’s ex from Kansas to come to Beverly Hills for Annie’s party. This is a shock for Annie to say the least.

Naomi also plans a dinner party for everyone so Jason can meet all of Annie’s friends. This becomes an awkward affair not long after it begins. Jason is looking at colleges in Los Angeles, and this sets Ethan at a steady boil. He wants Annie to tell Jason she is taken, but Annie points out the double standard. He didn’t want Naomi to know about the two of them. Later that night, Jason tries to rekindle things between he and Annie, and she puts on the stop sign immediately.  She tells him the next morning that she has moved on.

The party wraps up the episode. Everyone is there for some karaoke fun. Grandma busts out with the Pat Benatar. Ethan arrives to the party late. He was upset when he heard about Jason kissing Annie, and it looked like he might not even show up. However, he gets over it, and he and Annie plan to come clean to both Naomi and Jason. However, Naomi once again catches them kissing, and she shows Jason. This leads to the two of them making out upstairs, and the tables turning on Annie as she catches the two of them.

This leads to a huge fight with Annie and Naomi. All she had done was one huge game. One that played out just like she wanted, but she is trumped by the arrival of Sean, Harry’s son with Tracy. This is where the episode ends. As for Ryan, he is finally cleared as Kimberley makes her bust on the drug dealer supplying West Beverly. Kelly comes to him, but he is on his way out of town to clear his head. Kimberley also shows up, and we see a short awkward moment.

This episode shined a bit for me. It had a lot going on, even more than I spoke about. Navid and Adrianna’s relationship is also blooming. Everyone seems to be paring up in this series. Next week seems to be even more exciting as we see the return of Brenda to shake things up. Kelly and Brenda once again share the same man! Why am I not surprised? TV.com: Secrets and Lies - Silver invites a few of her female friends over for a girls’ night, but the event quickly turns into a house party. Meanwhile, Debbie and Harry finally reveal to Dixon and Annie that they have an older brother who was given up for adoption long ago.

Recap & Review: 90210 is the only series brave enough to air a new episode on Election Night. The CW opted to air new new episodes shortened briefly in order to break in with news updates on the results as they came in. The olders seem to be having as many problems as the West Beverly High teens. Harry has found out about his son in recent weeks, and now he must tell Dixon and Annie about this son he had with Tracy.

That is how this week’s episode starts. With the family sitting down and Harry telling the two teens they have a brother out there. They really don’t take the news well. They don’t even want to talk about it. Dixon has obvious issues because he was adopted. Annie only has words that make fun of their father. She thinks he is a hypocrite for preaching about sex when he had it himself when he was their age. The fact he lied about it also doesn’t set well with her.

Ethan brings up another point. This connects Annie and Naomi family wise. Last week, Naomi told Annie she couldn’t be friends if Annie dated Ethan, and it looked like Annie might back off from Ethan, but these two are now an item. Ethan does offer to keep their new relationship quiet. The new brother just makes things complicated. Naomi and Annie talk about the situation, and Naomi invites Annie out. Instead of saying no and keeping her plans with Ethan, she stumbles over her words, and she ends up accepting Naomi’s plans.

The girls do seem to be bonding this week. Even Silver wants to have slumber party with everyone. Why does this remind me of the slumber party Brenda had during the first season of Beverly Hills, 90210. Some think this episode was a turning point. Silver even invites Adrianna and Naomi to the party. Silver also shares a moment with Dixon when they talk about his adoption and his feelings about his new brother. Once home, Harry slams the door shut on Annie going to Silver’s slumber party, and he even sends the new boots she bought back.

However, Annie disobeys him, and she goes to the party anyway. The party starts, and the tequila starts to flow. Annie gets steadily more drunk as the night goes on, and the girls end up playing a game of I’ve Never. Naomi and Annie continue to bond over their new brother. The party quickly grows. Ethan and Dixon are the first to arrive, and then a flood of people from West Beverly show up, including the school’s narc Kimberly.

The party gets loud and busy. Naomi’s crush shows up, and Naomi asks Annie to keep his friend busy, so the two can be alone. This doesn’t work well because Annie soon abandons him for Ethan, and these two end up in a dark room making out with Naomi looking for Annie.  In a reversal, Adrianna is the one sitting with Navid watching the discovery channel. She needs to be the one to make the first move when it comes to him. In fact, she moves too fast for him when she thinks they are about to have sex. He leaves her there instead.

Annie sobers up just barely, and she meets up with Naomi in the hall. Naomi is tired of being lied to, and this only makes Annie feel bad as well. She wants to tell Naomi about her and Ethan, but before she can really talk to him about it she gets sick. Harry is called in by the narc, and he shuts down the party. The next day at school, Annie does talk to Ethan about telling Naomi, but the two are caught by her before they get a chance. Not only that, but Ryan was also caught with Kimberly off school grounds, and a student tries to use their this information for his own gain. This only gives Ryan a bit of paid vacation time until the drug case is over.

Next week, Kelly returns to 90210 after her visit with Dylan. This looks like it might be complicate. With the slumber party, I thought this series might be jumping the shark. A slumber party did play a major scene early on in the former 90210’s development, but this one turned into a wild party instead. It did move things forward romantically for a few of the couples though. This should be interesting as things go on. What did you think of this week’s episode of 90210? TV.com: There’s No Place Like Homecoming - After recuperating from her health scare, Adrianna returns and tries to make amends with Naomi, but her ex-BFF refuses to forgive her for the betrayal. Adrianna makes a surprising connection with Navid, who helps her through her situation. Meanwhile, Annie and Ethan finally take their rapidly growing romance to a new level during the school’s homecoming dance, causing Naomi to feel jealous.

Recap & Review: 90210 returns to the CW this week just in time for the homecoming dance at West Beverly High. Annie is working on her driver’s permit exam, and she is hoping Ethan will ask her to the dance. However, he says he can’t. It is too soon after the break-up for him to ask her out. However, he says he can meet there at the dance. They have a date to not go to the dance together. Dixon has her own plans to ask Silver, but she can’t. She would rather have work done on her teeth. She does want him to come take care of her though.

As for Naomi, she does find out her friend Adrianna almost died of a drug overdose. We do know the newest West Beverly student is also a narc. Adrianna is able to clear Naomi’s name of the drug charges. Since this a first offense for both of them, Adrianna gets rehab, and Naomi gets detention for the rest of the school semester. Looks like she also makes a new friend once there. Not the best of friends, but with Naomi that is no surprise. Annie moves forward with her new driving experience under the watchful eye of her mother. Annie also surprises Ethan by deciding to accept Naomi’s offer to go to the dancer together.

Adrianna doesn’t want to be in rehab. She just wants to fix things with Naomi. She even asks her new friend to get Naomi to come see her. Dixon has started to take care of Silver, and you can tell the pain pills she took are making her happy. Annie is happy for another reason. She passed her permit test. Annie and her mom use this as an opportunity to poke at her dad. Annie does go to Naomi’s for the pre-dance fun. Debbie and Harry also getting ready for the dance. Tabitha compliments her daughter in law, and she feels Debbie should have a bit of a one on one with Tracy.

At the dance, the girls arrive first, and they see that both Ethan and Naomi top the voting lists for Homecoming. Naomi’s detention buddy shows up at the dance. He even takes her out for a spin on the dance floor. Naomi also spots Ethan and Annie on the dance floor. She is about to confront her when Adrianna shows up. Naomi tells her that they can no longer be friends. Naomi also can’t be friends with Annie if she dates Ethan. Debbie goes to confront Tracy while Harry has to deal with Ryan and he finding Kimberley with drugs. They finally need to come clean about her being a cop.

After Annie tells Silver how looking forward to homecoming Dixon was, so she dresses up and decides to take him to homecoming. Adrianna returns to her old ways, but Navid stops her. He even confesses he has feelings for her. She figures out his family for her to go into rehab. Naomi also makes up with Adrianna. She just needs to get clean. Annie feels bad for hurting Naomi, but Ethan knows he likes her. All is well that ends well. Annie and Ethan share a moment, and once Ryan knows Kimberley is of age, he kisses her.

90210 might not be the best show on television, but it is a fun show. There is no way it even remotely compares to the original, but in time it just might. What did you think of this week’s episode?

The babes on 90210 aren’t only the ones that are in their teens. Lori Loughlin and Jennie Garth were both seen on the set of the series this week, and they don’t look bad at all. They are showing women and men you don’t have to be under 21 and a size 0 to look good. Loughlin is 44, and Garth is 36. Yes, Garth’s appearance on set does mean that Kelly Taylor will return to the series after going off to visit Dylan.

90210 has been off the air for a couple of weeks, but the series returns this coming Tuesday with an all new episode. There is also news that the series will air a new episode on election night. The CW is the only network that will have original programming on election night this year. They will condense the series a bit to show two election updates, but the series will air. TV.com: Hollywood Forever - As Silver’s “half birthday” approaches, she decides to spend a spooky evening watching movies with her friends at the famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Harry’s past returns to haunt him when Tracy reveals she is searching for their son. Annie and Ethan are paired up for an assignment, which leads to a connection after the two take care of a baby. Naomi confronts Adrianna as her drug addiction spirals out of control. Meanwhile, Ryan mourns Kelly’s unexpected departure.

Review: Last week, Dylan called Kelly, and she decided to go running off to be with him. Silver and Dixon started to date, and Ty made friends with Annie once they found out Adrianna set them both up. As for Adrianna, her drugs problems are only getting worse. Ethan and Naomi finally called it quits as well. This week, Adrianna is still taking drugs, and Naomi finally comes to her about the problem. Adrianna has other things on her mind though, like the audition for the movie. Annie is also auditioning for the same role, and this just makes her even more mad at Annie.

Meanwhile, Tracy goes to Harry to talk about their son. She wants to hire an investigator to find him. I have to wonder if Naomi even knows in some weird way she is related to Annie and Dixon. She comes across Ethan and Annie as they work on a school project. The two have been paired up to raise a baby for one of their classes. Naomi uses this opportunity for a few digs at the two. Naomi then goes to see Adrianna, but Adrianna is out partying with her drug dealer. Dixon ends up falling asleep while Silver has him watching horror movies. He finally shows up at home, and his mother is upset.

They aren’t upset enough to stop him from going to Hollywood Forever Cemetery with Silver and all their friends. They just will go with him. Harry has more problems on his hands though. Tracy goes ahead on hiring the investigator without him. She even tries to get a little bit too close, and he pulls back. Out in the halls of West Beverly High, Naomi once talks to Adrianna about her drug problem. The cops show up on scene, and Naomi takes Adrianna’s cocaine, and this lands her in the back of a cop car. Her father bails her out, but he can’t get her off the charge completely. Naomi talks Adrianna into turning herself in. However, when Adrianna goes home, she is unable to talk to her mother. Apparently, they were close to losing their home when she landed the movie role.

That night, everyone is at the cemetery for the movie with Ryan out on a date with OMG actress. A new student comes to West Beverly Hills, and she has her eye set on Ryan as well. Naomi is the only one not at the cemetery. She is waiting for Adrianna to come to her meeting with the lawyer on her case. Adrianna is nowhere in site to clear her name though. We soon learn West Beverly’s newest student is also their newest narcotics officer.

Ethan and Annie share a moment near the end of the episode. The two of them almost kiss, but this episode ends on a sad note. Naomi calls Adrianna to tell her off, but her friend has apparently overdosed. Will she survive. We will have to wait two weeks to find out. What did you think of this week’s episode of 90210?

TV.com: Model Behavior - After Debbie lands the chance to shoot a fashion show for Nylon Magazine, Annie uses the opportunity to her advantage for a class assignment. Naomi believes the upcoming show could help fix her parents’ marital mess, but it only makes matters worse. Ty and Annie’s relationship is put to the test when Adrianna reveals a secret. Meanwhile, Kelly receives a phone call that could change her relationship with Ryan.

Review:  Last week, Annie had her heart broken by Ty. Adrianna tricked the both of them in last week’s episode. This week, the episode begins with the school staff confonting Adrianna and her mother about her drug problem. This doesn’t go well. Outside in the hall, Ty tries to talk to Annie, but she wants nothing to do with him. She bumps into Adrianna on her way to class, and once again this doesn’t go well. Adrianna is having a bad day.

As for Silver and Dixon, the two are now an item, and in other romance news Dylan calls Brenda from Wyoming. Ryan finds out this is Sammy’s dad just as Kelly starts to talk to him. Dylan asks Kelly to move there with him, and this causes her to end her relationship with Ryan. This one call brings a new rift between Brenda and Kelly when Kelly asks Brenda why Dylan called Brenda instead of calling Kelly directly. Apparently, Dylan was trying to fish for information. However, this only causes old wounds from high school to reopen.

Annie’s mom, Debbie, gets an assignment at her job that Annie does use to her advantage for a school assignment. However, Ryan has an idea. He adds Adrianna to it, which is something neither girl is happy about. However, at the studio Silver is noticed by someone looking to have her model. She is not even remotely interested. Naomi keeps trying to deal with her parent’s divorce, but she instead wants to bring the family back together. She goes to dinner with her dad and his mistress. She uses the dinner to try to end the two of them. The next night she plots to get her parents both at the fashion show Debbie is working.

Annie is approached by a producer, and she also swings an audition for both her and Adrianna. This causes Adrianna to confess she tricked Annie. This only causes a fight between the two that is seen by Brenda and Ryan. These two are spending a lot of time together  In fact, the two end up leaving the party together just before hell breaks loose. Silver is once again approached by the man interested in her modeling for him. He begins to hit on her, which sets Dixon on attack. When the man makes a comment to Debbie, this sets Dixon off, and he punches the man. The party starts to wind down, and Ty shows up. He and Annie make up and decide to be friends. Kelly makes a decision of her own to go see Dylan to see what may happen.

Will this be the last we see of her? We will have to see what happens. This episode was a bit slower than last week. We had a less impact punch, but maybe it was needed if the previews for next week’s episode are any indication of the punch that episode might hit us with. TV. com: Wide Awake and Dreaming - As the opening night of the school musical approaches, Ty reveals to Annie his plans for a one-on-one after party in his hotel room with her. When Annie’s dad catches her in a compromising position with Ty, he becomes concerned about how fast their relationship is developing. Meanwhile, Naomi can’t accept her parents’ divorce and Adrianna is confronted about a substance abuse problem, giving Annie the chance to take the lead in the musical.

Review: Last week, we saw Annie end up with Ty, Ethan go back to Naomi, and Dylan was announced as the father of Kelly’s son. All in all, it was a good episode. We also now know that this series will have a complete season.  This week, we jump right back into rehearsals for the school musical. Annie has jumped in to understudy for the star of the show, Adrianna. This brings her closer to Ty, and the two share some steamy moments on stage and off. One of the off stage moments is caught by her father, who is coming in to see rehearsal with Kelly and Ryan. Harry is a bit upset by what he saw, and he goes to his wife and his mother.  Annie’s mother says she will talk to their daughter.

As for Naomi, her family is headed towards divorce after he leaves his home to live with his mistress at the family beach house. Naomi’s mom isn’t dealing with things well, and Naomi ends up calling her father home. This brings Naomi’s mother out of her pathetic state. When he arrives, the two end up in bed having angry sex. However, the couple end up heading to divorce. Naomi shows up when Silver and Annie are talking about what Harry saw. She warns Annie in her own way about Ty as well. However, the warnings might be needed. Ty has his own plans for the after show festivities at the hotel, including his own hotel room. Harry doesn’t want to let her go to the after party, but her mother talks him into letting her go. He tries to talk Annie out of going, but it turns into an argument.

Minutes before the musical goes on, Brenda finally notices that the others are right. Adrianna has a drug problem. Brenda pulls Adrianna from the show. This causes a problem backstage with Adrianna’s mother, who has called in agents to see Adrianna perform. However, they are seeing Annie instead. This is something that shocks everyone. It is hard for Harry to see Annie and Ty on stage, but the show is a hit. After it ends, Annie decides to go forward with sleeping with Ty. She even asks Dixon for his condom. Something that Ethan sees she has when they run into each other.

At the party, Adrianna goes to Ty’s room and tells him that Annie made out with Ethan before leaving the party. Silver kisses Dixon. Annie goes Ty’s room, and she finds Adrianna in nothing but a towel with Ty in the shower. At least, she makes it sound like Ty in the shower. He is nowhere to be found. Annie and him have both been played. This series may not be the best on television, but I already seeing it living up to the original. We need some more to happen, but we know the network is giving this series the time it needs to develop. We’ll have to wait and see if there is a season two.
