Fantastic Mr. Fox Gets A Trailer, Thomas The Tank Gets A Movie

fantastic-mr-fox-2.jpg

A few weeks ago I showed you the poster for the new animated movie George Clooney was doing, Mr. Fantastic. Now we have the fantastic trailer to go with it. That was released on the Internet on Wednesday. It seems more and more celebrities are lending their voice talents to animated movies and characters.

This one is coming to us from 20th Century Fox, and just from the trailer alone I am excited to see this movie. Pixar usually dominates when it comes to animation, but this one looks like it might top things once it is released. With the star talent involved, we are sure to see a hit. This one was created by Wes Anderson, and it is set to hit on November 25th.

As for another animated movie, Thomas The Tank Engine looks to be the next big story book character set to come to life on the big screen. A movie is being made with Thomas & His Friends, but we won’t see it until Spril 2011. That means we have a bit of a wait. For now, check out the trailer for the Fantastic Mr. Fox below. What do you think? Is it fantastic or not?

Nightmare on Elm Street Trailer Hits

nightmare-on-elm-st-tease.jpg

Remakes seem to come out all of the time now, and I’m left to wonder if this remake will be worth it every time I see news of another one hitting. However, this one might just work. Nightmare on Elm Street is a classic horror film. The first one hit in 1984, and I remember it scaring me silly.

The first teaser trailer for the movie hit the Internet yesterday, and I can now say I’m thoroughly excited to see this one when it hits theaters on April 30th, 2010. Yes, it is a long ways off. With this trailer though, I’m sure some excitement will build!

Michael Bay is behind this remake, and we can see some of the biggest younger stars in this one including Thomas Dekker and Katie Cassidy. We can see Katie weekly in the new Melrose Place, and Dekker was John Connor in The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Be ready to never sleep again. Check out the trailer below.

This Is It Trailer Released

michael-jackson-this-is-it-rehearsal.jpg

The shock-waves from Michael Jackson’s death are still being felt. I think those will be felt for a long time to come. In the same way the death of Elvis is being felt to today. We will finally be able to see his final project, the tour that was supposed to bring him back. However, he died just before the tour was set to start.

Right now, the absence of Michael Jackson in those dates is trying to be dealt with. One name being thrown around to fill the dates left open by Jackson’s death is Bon Jovi. They had a new album set for release on November 10th, and they have done long concert stays. They did ten straight dates at the new Prudential back in 2007.

The trailer for This Is It is now out, and we can see just how amazing Michael was and what he had planned for the world. This Is It will hit theaters on October 28th for only two weeks. Check out the trailer below. What do you think? Will you be heading into theaters to check out the movie.

First Look At A-Team & The Legacy Of Elm Street

I have two things to show you today. It seems the 80s keep getting revisited. Movies and television series from that time continue to pop up. They are remade, redone and either the big or small screen. The A-Team was a popular television series back in the day, and a big screen remake has been in the works for a bit now. Now we know Jessica Biel is joining the cast. That news came out earlier this week, and not long after that we were given a look at the A-Team van, which had almost as big a role in the series as the actors. It was no KITT car though. Check out that picture here!

Another big thing from the 80s was Freddy Krueger and A Nightmare on Elm Street. Freddy began making us afraid to sleep back in 1984. I didn’t even believe that until I read it. I remember watching the movie, even though I was only eight years old at time. We have a big screen remake set for release in March 2010, but first we need to take a quick look back. A new 2 DVD documentary is set for release before the new movie hits. We’ll take a look back at the last twenty-five years with over four hours of never before seen footage. Nancy, the heroine from the first film, also has her own little take on things with a documentary she made. This is also included on the DVD. Take a look at the trailer for Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy below.

Posters For Jennifer’s Body, Law Abiding Citizen & Hancock 2 Moves Forward

There is new movie news out and new posters to look at. An all-new international poster for Jennifer’s Body has hit the Internet. Megan Fox is once again featured in this one. This one has been creating some buzz because of the kiss between Megan Fox and Amanda Seyfried. However, the powers that be behind the movie say it was not done to drum up buzz for the flick. Jennifer’s Body hits theaters on September 18th.

Another poster for Law Abiding Citizen has also hit. This one brings Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx together in one poster. Earlier posters for the flick had them separate. This one will hit theaters on October 16th.

Lastly, we have good news for fans of Hancock. Hancock 2 is now moving forward, and yes Will Smith, Charlize Theron and Jason Bateman will all be returning for that one. No official release date is set for this one yet because the script is still be written, but it coming to the big screen is definitely set to happen.

Check out the posters from Jennifer’s Body and Law Abiding Citizen below.

Poster: Michael Jackson This Is It

Yes, folks. This is really it. The poster for Michael Jackson’s last gift to the world in regard to his music. This is the footage from his last dress rehearsal at the Staples Center for the concert tour that was supposed to start in late July. He passed on before that happened, leaving many to question just what they would have seen when he hit the stage for those shows in England on July 13th.

Many were ready for his comeback. I know I was. No matter what has been said about the man, it was the entertainer I always focused my attention on. I grew up listening to his music, and nothing will ever change that. He was finally laid to rest last week at Forest Lawn, and footage was leaked online immediately afterward, which angered the family. That is completely understandable.

It is time to let Michael Jackson rest in peace. You can check out the poster for his last concert film below. It premieres on October 28th for a brief two week engagement.

Posters: Fantastic Mr. Fox & Smurfs

It seems we keep getting more and more animated movies coming out, and I’ve always been a fan when it comes to a good cartoon. Animated movies are only getting better as times goes on. I was hooked by Finding Nemo, Ice Age and Monsters Inc., and I can’t forget Ratatouille either. That one won me over big time.

We have looks at two new animated movies coming to theaters in the future. One stars the voice talents of George Clooney, and the other brings back those adorable little blue creatures many of us fell in love with. The one coming to us from George Clooney is called Fantastic Mr. Fox, and he co-stars with the voice talents of Meryl Streep for this one. It is set to hit theaters on November 13th!

The other we have a sneak peek out won’t be released until December 2010. The Smurfs are back. We don’t have much from this one yet, but this advertisement was seen in a magazine lately, and that hit the Internet earlier this week. The movie is currently in pre-production, and the plan is to bring back The Smurfs in 3-D just in time for Christmas 2010.

Check out both the poster and the advertisement below. What do you think?

New 2012 Posters

A couple of months ago, I posted the trailer for this new movie called 2012. It is the next big end of the world disaster movie from the man behind The Day After Tomorrow. This one takes a look at the Mayan belief that the world ends in 2012 because that is when their calendars stop. On that final date, there is supposedly a solar event that will cause chaos on our planet and bring about the end of life as we know it.

The trailer for this one looked amazing, and yesterday three all new posters showing some of the chaos on Earth were released. I know I am looking forward to going to see 2012 just based on the trailer alone. The Day After Tomorrow is one of my favorite movies, and I can’t wait to see 2012. Check out the three new posters from the movie below. The movie is set for release on November 13. What do you think? Will you be going to see 2012?

New Trailer: Inception

Leonardo Dicaprio is one man that always seems to keep himself busy, especially these days. He has movie after movie coming out, and yesterday the trailer for one of his latest ventures onto the big screen was premiered online. This one is for the next film to come from Christopher Nolan. Yes, the man behind Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. This time he is taking us on a journey with Dicaprio, Cillian Murphy, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page and Michael Caine. This one has been busy filming in Paris in recent weeks actually, and it is set for release on July 24, 2010. This is only a quick teaser trailer, but it gives you a taste of what the movie is about. What do you think?

New Avatar Trailer & Still Photos

James Cameron is known as a God among men when it comes to movies. The man behind Titanic has a new one coming out this December, and the hype is only building and building around. A day to show some footage of the movie has caused some chaos. Those trying to buy tickets online crashed the site being used to sell them. Yes, the uproar over this one is that big. It has been twelve years since James Cameron last brought something of his to the big screen. He had some work in at Dark Angel over on Fox, but that one never hit the big screen.

He had the vision for Avatar fourteen years ago, but the technology to bring the movie to life properly wasn’t available at that time. Once it was he went to work. That was four years ago. This one stars such faces as Sam Worthington, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver. It is set for release on December 18th, and yesterday we had the release of an all new feature trailer and some new images from the movie. You can check out both below. What do you think? Are you ready for James Cameron’s Avatar?
