Adam Lambert might not have won American Idol this year, but he was the first to release his first solo singles. Not just one but two of them apparently with Time For Miracles from the 2012 soundtrack and For Your Entertainment from his solo record.
However, now it seems the American Idol winner Kris Allen is catching up. On Friday, he released his first music video for the first single off of his record due out November 17th. The video is for Live Like You’re Dying, and apparently this was his first ever music video. An exciting life since he won American Idol, but the runner up isn’t doing too bad since the series ended.
American Idol returns this January to Fox with all new judge Ellen Degeneres taking over for Paula Abdul. Check out Kris Allen’s video below.
Rihanna has had one busy week this week. Actually the last month for her has been insanely busy. The singer released Russian Roulette just a few weeks ago, and now another single has hit with a video. This one is called Wait Your Turn. Yes, she is seen with an eye patch on this one. Not only is she moving on with her music, but she is also opening up about the incident that happened earlier this year between her and Chris Brown.
She is set to tell ABC all about the incident and the impact it has had on her life. Things have certainly changed in her life this year. Her music even has an edgier feel to it. Could that relate to what happened to her? Check out her new music video for Wait Your Turn below. What do you think? Is it hot or not? For myself, I’ve never been her biggest fan, but I can admit she looks good!
Happy November! Did all of you remember to turn your clocks back last night? At least the ones that had to do that! I have not one but two new music videos for you this morning. These two were both released late this week, and they are hot and will surely scream up the music video charts.
The first is the duet by Jay-z & Alicia Keys for Empire State Of Mind. The two performed this song at game two of the World Series earlier this week, and a couple of days later the music video hit. They are an interesting pairing, but not a bad one at all. The song is their tribute to New York City. Check that video out below!
For the other new offering this week, Shakira has the video out for her second single off of her record release, She- Wolf. Do It Again is a sexy video with some amazing dance moves. On a bed no less! Yes, clothes were fully on, but she has always amazed me with how well she moves. Check that video out here!
What do you think of these two new music videos? Hot or not?
Yet another American Idol alum is releasing their album soon, and this one will be the first for Adam Lambert, who came in second during this year’s competition. The song leaked earlier this week, but the official video for Time For Miracles hit the Internet on Tuesday. This one is from the soundtrack for 2012, which is set for release on November 13th.
In this month’s issue of Details Magazine, the singer has a sexy photoshoot that might be worth a look. Lambert came out as gay shortly after the American Idol competition ended this year. His record, For Your Entertainment, is set for a November 23rd release date. For more of the racy Details photo shoot, go here.
There’s a feeling of entitlement [with the fans] because they voted to get us where we are. But you know what? I am responsible for what I created on the show – you voted for what I created, and thank you, but I created it, you didn’t.
Bon Jovi is getting release their next big studio album on November 10th. The Circle will be their fifth studio album in the last decade, and it looks like they aren’t stopping. Going on twenty-five years, the rockers from Jersey led by Jon Bon Jovi haven’t had it easy in recent years. Richie Sambora, the guitarist for the band, had to fight some of his own personal demons with a trip into rehab following the divorce of him and his wife Heather Locklear. The two still remain close.
Earlier this week, NBC announced that Jon Bon Jovi would be their artist in residence for November and December. In order to promote the record release, Jon will appear exclusively on NBC programming, either solo or with his band. Some of the appearances include The Jay Leno Show, The Tonight Show, The Today Show, an appearance on Saturday Night Live, and even an episode of In The Actor’s Studio with Jon. You can check out the video for We Weren’t Born To Follow, the first single off The Circle, below. What do you think?
Former American Idol contestant, Chris Daughtry has definitely not slouched at all since he was kicked off the series a few years ago. He actually used that to his advantage and made the music he wanted. The second album with his group titled Leave This Town was released this summer, and the first single No Surprise did rather well. Daughtry is currently out touring to support it. Their second single has now hit, and the music video for it made its way onto the Internet yesterday. The song is titled Life After You.
It seems Daughry has perfected the angry break up song! It is something he seems to write about a lot anyway. I’ve loved Chris Daughtry since his appearance on American Idol, and I’ve been a fan ever since. Some good honest rock and roll never hurt anyone. Managed to catch him on stage live when he opened for Bon Jovi a couple of years ago, and he knows how to put on a show too! Check out his new video below. What do you think?\
One Republic made it huge with some big hits off of their first album a couple of years ago with songs like Apologize and Stop and Stare getting major air play for the band. Well, now they are getting ready to release their next album Waking Up on November 17th, and we now a music video for the first single, All The Right Moves. That hit MTV just this week, and it looks to me like the band might have another potential hit on their hands.
I was a big fan of their first album release, and I can’t wait for the second to hit stores. This video was directed by Wayne Isham, who has worked with artists such as *Nsync, Ricky Martin and Britney Spears in the past. Check out the video for All The Right Moves below. What do you think? Does One Republic have all the right moves for you?
Michelle Branch is returning to the music world with a new solo effort after trying to be a duo wiith The Wreckers. Her new album, Everything Comes And Goes, is set for release on November 10th. On that date, she will go up against Bon Jovi. That group is also releasing their next studio album, The Circle, on that date. Her new music video for the first single off of the album, Sooner or Later, first hit the Internet on Thursday, but it was officially released on Friday October 2nd.
In the video we see her driving around with a guy she picks up off the road. The singer plans to tour this fall to share her music with her fans. I’ve always been a fan of her solo work, so I’m excited for this new release and more from her. November is only a month away, so we won’t have long to wait. Check out the video below. What do you think? Do you want more?
Another Friday has arrived, and that means it is time to give you a look at an all-new music video. This one for Miley Cyrus’ new song was just released on Wednesday, and Miley herself has been quite busy. Last week, she participated in VHI’s Divas show. A bit young to be a diva, but she certainly has her moments. This song first hit back in August. Miley is definitely one of those artists I just don’t quite get. I’ve never been caught up in the rave around her, but I know a lot of people have been. She has her moments, but mostly to me she is a girl gone wild. Of course, as the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus, she was raised in the business, and that is probably the problem right there. Check out the video for Party in the USA below. What do you think? Hot or not?
Whitney Houston is trying to make a big comeback. Her latest studio album hit stores at the end of August, and earlier today her first music video from the effort was released on her personal website. The first single off the album is of the title track, I Look To You. The video is simply done, and it once again showcases the talent of Houston.
She still has that voice that made her famous, but we all know she has had a considerable amount of problems over the years. Her personal life was a virtual shambles, but she is fighting back now it seems. We will be able to hear more about her life when Oprah opens up her next season on Monday because her first in studio guest will be Whitney herself. She will sit down with Oprah for an episode that is set to air on September 14th.
For now, you can check out her video below. What do you think? Is Whitney on her way back?
