Britney Spears has had it tough over the years, but it seems over the past year she has cleaned up her act some and is doing a lot better than the near breakdown and troubled state she was in not too far in the distant past. She’s been making music, touring and winning awards with her last record release, and she is releasing a hits collection next month. The single off of that record, 3, is already causing some buzz though, as that 3 is entering the Billboard Hot List at number one.
Yes, that is where it is debuting, and she has made a Billboard record with this one - she is the first artist to do this in over three years. The song is her own fun tribute to threesome sex. Only Britney folks! Not only that, but she has been selected as the best celebrity mom this year by a poll in the UK. She even beat out Christina Aguilera and Angelina Jolie for the honor.

Jennifer Aniston is busy filming her next flick, The Baster. Yes, you figured this one out just by the title of it. Her character looks to get knocked up with the turkey baster, and it looks like life will imitate art. Since her and John Mayer are on the outs again, she has decided to take her motherhood into her own hands.
She wants to have a baby, and she doesn’t have to man in her life to do it. She just needs a little friendly sperm, and rumor has it she has found just the sperm in mind. She has gone to former Friend, David Schwimmer, and asked him to be the father of her child.

One of the big stories this past week has been the return to the hospital by Patrick Swayze last week. The man went in on the day he was set to promote his latest on screen effort, The Beast. He takes on the cover of People Magazine this week, and he is still fighting on.
This man will not give up. The fifty-six year old actor told the magazine, “I am alive and plan on continuing to stay that way.” The actor was diagnosed stage four pancreatic cancer, and he was given only months to live. That was a year ago.
People Magazine is also showing off the new baby twins in the Presley clan this week. Lisa Marie gave birth to twin girls three months ago, and People is the first magazine with those pictures. Both Lisa Marie and Patrick’s story will be featured in the issue of People Magazine hitting newsstands this Friday.
Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie have been making the rounds of the awards this week. They first attended the People Choice Awards on Wednesday, and then the next night they ventured out for the Critic’s Choice Awards. At the Critic’s Choice Awards, they took home nothing, but they were seen being quite affectionate with one another.
One of Brad’s co-stars might have also let one huge cat out of the bag when he was being interviewed at the event as well. More than once, he called Brad Pitt Angelina’s husband. He caught himself the first time, correcting himself before he made the slip up again.

A woman named Billie Jean Jackson is suing the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, for one billion dollars. She is claiming that she is the mother of Michael Jackson’s son, Prince Michael II. The child is nicknamed Blanket. Extra reported on this yesterday. She also wants joint legal and physical custody of the child.
Billie Jean Jackson? Really? Come on Michael. Tell me that really isn’t her name. It can’t be! Billie Jean was your lover, and out came Blanket. This world is just too crazy. What do you think of this turn of developments folks? Does Michael even have a billion dollars to spare?!
Back in August, Ricky Martin shared with the world that he was the father of two twin boys. The boys were carried by a surrogate, and Ricky is raising the two on his own. Now the proud father is showing off his boys to the world in this week’s issue of People Magazine. Matteo and Valentino Martin are just four months old, but I have this feeling they might end up being heart breakers just like their dad someday.
Ricky Martin talks openly about his decision to bring the boys into his life and how it is to become a father in the issue. Here is a snippett of what he had to say:
I don’t have a nanny. I’m doing this on my own because I don’t want to miss a moment. I have a personal assistant who helps me, someone who takes care of me while I’m taking care of them, but I’m the one who changes the diapers, the one that feeds them, the one that bathes them, the one that puts them to sleep. For any parent, the first couple of months tend to get a little bit intense.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a nice quiet family weekend here in the United States. The two of them spent the holiday weekend in New Orleans. They travel all around the world, so I bet it was nice to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. Angelina was seen out shopping with Maddox on Sunday. The two hit a toy store!
Pax celebrated his birthday over the weekend as well. US Weekly reports that Angelina Jolie is really no cook. Brad recently said in an interview that the best thing Angelina has ever made is cereal. If I remember correctly, in the past Brad has said he really is no chef either. Wonder how they eat? Take out anyone?
Brad also spends a lot of time in New Orleans as part of his Make It Right project that is working to rebuild homes destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. He spoke to Architectual Digest and he appears in their January 2009 issue.
You have no idea what a high it is for me to see the delight on people’s faces when they see how these homes work. This project is not mine anymore. It’s so beyond me.

Back on Friday, I had the cover of Hugh Jackman on the cover of Italy’s Vanity Fair. Over the weekend more pictures from that issue that hits stands on Wednesday hit the Internet. This is just in time for Jackman’s release of Australia. In another magazine, Woman’s Day, the actor has spoken out about the battle he and his wife went through while trying to have their own children through IVF.
I hope Deb doesn’t mind me saying so, but that was a tough, tough time. Physically, you go through a lot with IVF. I was giving Deb injections every day, and hormonally she was all over the place. There’s anxiety. Your mind centres on when you’re going to do it. You become obsessive.
The couple have two adopted children, Ava and Oscar. On Monday night, TMZ caught this footage of Hugh at the premiere of his movie in New York City. He handled a rude paparazzi and security guard and took a few pictures for his fans. He looks like a nice guy. The photographer was pushing it.

Last week, Angelina said she was ready to fade away and focus on her family. However, she is heading in front of the camera one more time to take over a role Tom Cruise couldn’t take. She will next appear in the spy thriller, Edwin A. Salt. This project will reunited her with Phillip Noyce, director from The Bone Collector, which is one of my favorite movies of hers. Filming on the project will start in February, but after that Angelina has decided to take a year off from working.
I like being home a lot. First and foremost, I have a lot of children, and I need to make sure they’re growing right and they’ve got us there for them.
Angelina was last seen out and about on Monday in London as she stepped out with partner Brad Pitt to promote The Changeling. Word has it that Angelina has made over one billion at the box office between her releases. Check out some pictures of her and Brad out Monday in London below.
