Playboy Wants Lilo, Princess Leia & MJ, & L Word Goes Reality
There are always strange things happenings in the celebrity world. These are just some of the things that caught my eye on this Friday.
- Playboy wants Lindsay Lohan to pose nude for them. This isn’t the first time they have made such a request from her. In the past, they offered to pay her $700,000 to pose for them. Now they are uping that price to $900,000. Last night, Lohan attended the memorial for DJ AM at the Palladium in Hollywood.
- With Michael Jackson just being laid to rest in Hollywood last night, there are still stories coming out from those that knew the entertainer. This story is one of those that falls into the strange bracket. Carrie Fisher tells a story about how she spent this past Christmas with Jackson and his kids. She even broke out Princess Leia for them, and all she received for her troubles was a gifted cell phone. She tells this full story tonight on Late Night With Craig Ferguson.
- Last but not least, this one I heard a few days ago, and it made me shake my head. Showtime is not done with The L Word. Not entirely. They are deciding to move forward on another one of series’ creator Ilene Chakien’s ideas. She wants to make an L Word reality series. They will cast six lesbians and follow their lives for a reality series. Originally, she wanted to do a spin-off from The L Word focusing on Leisha Hailey, but that idea didn’t go as planned. Showtime canned it before letting it move forward.
