Once again Stephanie Meyer and her Twilight series has come under attack. TMZ broke the news yesterday that there is a lawsuit against the author and her work Breaking Dawn. That is the fourth book in the Twilight series. The flick for the second, New Moon, is due out on November 20th, and Eclipse, the third in the series is being filmed now.

Jordan Scott says there are many similarities between her book and a book that she wrote in her teens called The Nocturne. Some of those similarities include a a post wedding sex scene, a woman that becomes ill while carrying a child with evil powers, and also the death of that same woman. Scott wants all copies of Breaking Dawn taken off the shelves.

What do you think? Did Meyer steal her ideas for Breaking Dawn from this woman’s early work? Personally, I would like to see a side by side comparison before saying anything. Word has it that things will move forward with the series, and this means Breaking Dawn will also be hitting the big screen. That news broke earlier this week. What could these charges do to this happening? Will these plans come to a halt?
