A powerful episode of True Blood this week. In the opening minutes of the episode we see what has happened as the result of the suicide bombing by Luke. Vampires and humans are killed, and it is a mess - literally and figuratively. Sookie is protected by Eric, who then tricks her into sucking his blood. This forms a bond between the two of them, and the trick angers Bill and Sookie.

However, that bond starts to show itself when Sookie starts to have sexual fantasies of her and Eric. As far as Eric is concerned he has to deal with the fact his maker is ready to make his end after 2000 years of life. Godric decides to meet the sun in his own way, and Sookie is there with him in his final moments. This is how the episode ends.

However, more happened back home in Bon Temps. The entire town is locked up, and Marianne is on the search for Sam. When she can’t find him, she sets the town free, and she is now looking for her sacrifice. Tara and her new man come to odds with her family, but Lafayette kidnaps Tara in an attempt to save her.

As for our newest mixed couple, Hoyt and Jessica must deal with the fact she will always be a virgin as he wants her to meet his mother. The meeting goes less than well, and Hoyt chooses Jessica over his mother. All this and we see a truce between Sookie and her brother as well.

Next week, we start the final three episodes of this season as we see everyone back from Dallas and ready to fight Marianne. What will happen next?
