New Posters: Whiteout, Shutter Island & Sherlock Holmes

Published by Regina Avalos at 9:48 am under Movies, Teasers & Trailers Edit This

Here at Celebrity Today, I like to get for you the latest in movie posters and trailers as they hit the Internet. I’ve posted many posters and movie trailers over the year this blog has been existence, and I’m going to continue to do that for a long time to come.  Today, we have three new movie posters for you.

Whiteout is set for release on September 11th. Coming to us from Warner Bros., and it tells the story of a a U.S. Marshal in Antartica trying to solve a murder before winter arrives. The movie stars Kate Beckinsale as the U.S. Marshal. Something tells me we won’t see her in tight leather like she wore in Underworld for this one. However, it looks like we will see Underworld 4. Will Kate return to the series? No word yet! She left the franchise after the second film.

Next up, we have the latest poster for Sherlock Holmes, which is set for release in December. This time around the villain in the movie gets the solo character poster treatment. Check out Blackwood in this new poster.

Lastly, we have the the poster for the latest film from Martin Scorsese, Shutter Island. This one stars Leonardo Dicaprio, and it is set for release on October 2nd, and it tells the story of a U.S. Marshal on the hunt for an escaped murderess. The movie is set in 1954.

Check out all three posters below. What do you think?
