Kate Walsh Opens Up
Kate Walsh is probably best known for her role of Addison Montgomery on Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. Addison recently returned to the halls of Seattle Grace for a three week long crossover, and soon after her appearance on that series, the rumors started that Addison might make a more permanent return to Grey’s Anatomy.
That series is known for more happening behind the scenes drama than on screen drama these days with Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight both on the bubble to possibly leave the series. Could Kate make a comeback to Grey’s? Would this put Private Practice out of business?
In this month’s edition of Redbook Magazine, Kate opens up about her life and her recent divorce. She divorced Alex Young after just after fifteen months of marriage.
I don’t think anyone gets married thinking that they will get divorced. We certainly did not. Alex and I still care for each other, and I wish him nothing but the best. The silver lining to this, however, is that I have a wonderful family and a great group of friends who really showed their support and encouragement, and for that I am truly grateful.
