Been a couple of years since we last seen Orlando Bloom hard at work. He has a small role in the upcoming release of New York, I Love You, but a starring role in a film has not happened since he was seen in Pirate’s of the Caribbean: At World’s End. The British actor is now hard at work filming Sympathy for Delicious in Los Angeles.
The actor has come in as rocker in this flick being directed by Mark Ruffalo. Some delays following the death of Mark’s brother last month caused James Franco to drop out of the role. In came Orlando. He was seen in downtown Los Angeles on set, and he caught the eye of the paparazzi as he stood outside his trailer talking on the phone shirtless.
The tattoos are for the most part fake, but they fit the role. The movie also stars Juliette Lewis, Laura Linney and Mark Ruffalo has a spot in front of the camera. Check out the pictures of Orlando on the set of Sympathy for Delicious below.

Naomi Watts may be one of the biggest Australian imports. The forty year old actress has been quiet in recent years, but that is only because she is giving another big dream of hers the focus it needs. In the past two years, she has given birth twice to boys with fiance Liev Schreiber.
He will next be seen on the big screen alongside Hugh Jackman in one of this summer’s biggest movies, Origins: Wolverine. As for Naomi herself, she will next be seen on the screen in The International, which will be released on February the 13th.
Naomi was quite candid in an interview for Parade Magazine, which will hit news stands this weekend. She speaks about her sons, Sasha and Sam, her fiance, and even former love, Heath Ledger. She says his death is still extremely difficult for her.
I hadn’t really been that familiar with his work. Then, when I got to the set and did that first scene with him, I was like, ‘Wow! This guy is alive.’ It was just something deep in his eyes. You could look into them, and they would tell a thousand stories in one glance. There was a wonderful mixture of power and fragility at work in everything he did, which just pulls you in. His strength didn’t scare you. It intrigued you. And his fragility touched you.
Naomi and Heath dated from 2002 to 2004, when they parted ways. The two were still close until his death last year. As for her current romance with Schreiber and any marriage plans, she is keeping quiet. Check out the pictures of Naomi in Parade below.

Watchmen has been the center of a lot of controversy the last few months with the battle between studios looking to stop the movie from even being released into theaters. The battle between Fox and Warner Bros seems to have stopped. It has come to an amicable conclusion that seems to have made everyone happy.
At least Fox seems happy with the large payoff Warner Bros. has left them with. The good news is for fans though. The movie will go forward with its release date on March 6th. Many thought that would never end up happening. Fox will end up earning some of the profits from the movie’s release and merchandising from the movie, but that is all. This gives fans a chance for one big sigh of relief.
The final poster for the film was released by Warner Bros. on Wednesday. What do you think? Are you ready to see Watchmen?

Another one of the big movies coming out this summer is the live action take on the popular 1980s cartoon series, G.I. Joe. This one has been in the works for awhile now, and the movie will finally hit the big screen on August 7th. A late summer release date, which usually means a studio doesn’t think a movie can do a big take at the box office. August is usually a quiet month for movie releases. The big dates are truly in May and the 4th of July holiday.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra will star Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols. Six posters were released by Paramount Pictures on Tuesday for the upcoming movie release. You can see the posters below. What do you think? Are you excited for the cartoon to hit the big screen? As a fan of the cartoon myself, I’m curious to see what they do with the series in bringing it to the big screen.

Actor George Clooney may be getting a bit older, but that makes him no less wanted. He made news last week by stating that he would finally give in and return for an appearance to E.R. before the series airs its final episode in April. His return has sparked Juliana Marguiles to do the same. She had been holding out as well, but with George returning as Dr. Doug Ross, it is only right to see him return with his love on his arm, Carol.
These two had one rocky romance before finally running off into the sunset several seasons ago. At an event in Washington D.C. with his father at his side, he made a joking comment asking someone to adopt him. He says he has always wanted to be adopted. He even asked one of the journalists in attendance at the event if he would adopt him, but the actor was turned down. Would you want to adopt George Clooney if given the chance?

Another Monday morning has arrived, and even with new arrivals to the box office this weekend, Paul Blart: Mall Cop managed to top the box office charts once again. The movie managed to beat out this past weekend’s big arrival, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Less than a million separated the two, but Paul Blart came out on top with about 21.5 million in ticket sales. The other new arrival to the box office this weekend came in seventh place with just under $8 million in ticket sales.
As for new releases this week, there are three new arrivals - New In Town, Taken and yet another horror flick, The Uninvited. January seems to have been the month for releases of horror movies with My Bloody Valentine, The Unborn and Underworld all making their way into theaters. Even so, they have not dominated the box office. Other films have done that. Will the The Invited be able to top things this coming weekend?
As for other releases, Scarlett Johansson’s latest film, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, hits DVD this week, along with Samuel L. Jackson’s Lakeview Terrace and Colin Farrell’s Pride & Glory. On the music side of things, Bruce Springsteen’s latest CD, Working on a Dream finally hits stores. Check for a full list of releases after the jump.

If you were a fan of the Charlie’s Angels movies, then you have some good news coming out of Hollywood this weekend. A new Charlie’s Angels movie is in the works. It has been six years since the trio of Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz hit the big screen in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle.
Drew Barrymore had been trying to bring a third film to the screen, but Diaz and Liu weren’t on board for the project. Not sure what changed their mind, but it looks like this movie is moving forward, and a fourth Angel will be added to the mix. No details about the film have been released, and no release date is set.
I know I’m looking forward to the idea of these three together on the big screen again. The first two movies were fun, and stayed true to the campy feeling of the television series while updating it. What do you think?

News of pregnancies and marriages seem to a constant in Hollywood. On Thursday, People Magazine released the news that forty year old actress, Molly Ringwald, was pregnant with twins. She is currently seen on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of an American Teenager. Her pregnancy will be written into the series that currently airs on Monday nights. She is due this summer. This time around we have a son and a daughter on the way for the actress. She already has a five year old daughter.
In other news, this story is getting old. At least once a week, an announcement of model Gisele Bundchen being engaged to boyfriend Tom Brady is announced. That announcement was once again made this week, and now the model is coming out to deny the engagement reports. She hasn’t even seen the football player this week. Maybe they need to get married to just stop all the rumors!

On Thursday night, Angelina Jolie stood on the arm of Brad Pitt at the latest premiere of his film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The two of them are riding high at the moment after their Oscar nominations were announced on Thursday morning.
However, there is one dark mark on all of this. A bodyguard to the actress is ready to tell the world all about their former employer. Those details include the relationship she had with Brad Pitt while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston. Mickey Brett never signed any kind of confidentiality agreements.
News of this tell-all has hit In Touch magazine, and Angelina Jolie is already working towards trying to stop its publication. Brad Pitt also made the news today because he has confessed that he has no idea how to even operate a computer. The actor says he has never even searched for himself on Google. Tell me it ain’t so, Brad!

One of the best series on television today has to be Lost. The series finally premiered its fifth season last night on ABC, and anybody that watched the episode last night know that it is now an all new ball game. The series has changed things in regards to the island. When Ben turned the wheel in the last episode of season, he started a process that opened a door between time. The island is now jumping back and forth in time, and those still on the island are along for the ride.
They jump into the past before they crashed on the island and destroyed the hatch to a time when they are already on the island. They are able to see people that have already died or left the island. Desmond and is still guarding over the hatch in one time, and big bad evil Ethan is still alive. Those that were on the island during the event are confused. It even looks like they don’t remember some things that have happened. Sawyer doesn’t seem to know Daniel at all at some points.
He is the only one that seems to understand just what the hell is going on with the island, but we all know getting people, meaning Sawyer, to listen is a task. He is dealing with the fact that Kate and the others on the helicopter died when the freighter went down. That is what he thinks. We know differently. The Oceanic 6, plus a few, left the island, and Ben is currently trying to get them to return before all hell breaks loose. We don’t know what will happen, but it sounds bad whatever it is.
It could even mean the end of the world. Ben first get Jack on his side. Sayid goes to Hurley, and in the process he kills three men. One while trying to break Hurley out of the mental ward, and two more that attack the two of them. People put these deaths on Hurley’s shoulders. This makes him and Sayid both fugitives, and they spend the episode on the run. Sayid finally gets into Jack’s hands, but when Ben tries to make contact with Hurley the man is less than willing to work with Ben. He actually ends up turning himself into the police.
Kate is also dealing with issues after a lawyer comes to have blood and tests down on Aaron. This puts her on the run. Sun is also a changed woman when she visits with Kate. She is trying to make a deal with Charles Widmore. To me, Sun is probably the most changed character over this series. The Oceanic Six, and whoever else, left the island, need to return to it, but it seems that won’t be an easy task. We will have to see what happens next week. What did you think of the season premiere of Lost?
