True Blood is riding high right now with the announcement at Thursday’s Golden Globe nominations that True Blood was up for awards. Anna Paquin and the series itself were both nominated. Season two will not hit until May, but we do have some information out about it now.

Season 2 will see the following:

  • Jason will continue on with the Fellowship Of The Sun.
  • There will be new romances for Tara, Jason and Sara while Bill and Sookie deal with the changes of their own romance after Eric drops off Bill’s vampire child.
  • There is also a new creature that pops up in town. Not another vampire, shape shifter or werewolf. What is it?

Season one hits DVD on May 12. The series will premiere not too long after. What I want to know is what happened to Lafayette? Is he dead?

It was pretty much implied that Bill had to drink so much of Lafayette’s blood that it killed him. It sucks; he was my favorite character.

I absolutely love this show and can’t wait for the second season. Thanks for letting us know some of what’s in store!

I’m assuming that Lafayette is dead. I feel sorry for Bill having to deal with the little hellion he was forced to create. She is going to be trouble.
