New Photo: X-men Origins Wolverine
With Australia out, the focus can now turn to Hugh Jackman’s next big movie release, Origins: Wolverine. This one is set for release on May 1st, and now we have another look at Wolverine in the movie. Empire Magazine has Wolverine on the cover of their magazine, and they also had another still photo of Wolverine from the movie.
Australia doesn’t seem to be the big hit everyone thought it would be. On Wednesday, it came in 7th place with its numbers. Not an impressive first day at all. In fact, some are already saying that the movie is a bomb. Hard word to hear when the movie was hyped so much to begin with! Hugh Jackman is already looking ahead to Wolverine’s release, and if it bombs, he will quit the franchise. He had the following to say:
If it’s clear to us on May second or third that that’s gone, then I’ll walk away happily. I’m not going to flog something - or flog a dead horse, or try and make movies that people don’t really want to go and see. I have no interest in that. Even no matter how much I love the character. So there are many prerequisites.
I am actually excited for the Wolverine movie to come out, and I know I will be out to see it on May 1st. The first trailer for the movie is said to be ready to hit on December 12th in front of The Day The Earth Stood Still. Check out the cover of Empire and the new Wolverine still below! Whoo HOoooooooo!!! I loved all the X-Men movies, and can’t wait for this one. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but I’m excited for this one.
