Hugh Jackman Is People’s Sexiest Man For 2008

People has so many lists that come out every year. We have sexiest bachelor, sexiest dad, but now we know who they have picked for their sexiest man of the year. Hugh Jackman was their choice this year, and to me this is no real big shock. He takes the cover of the special issue that hits on Friday.
Hugh is big news right now. He is out promoting his next movie, Australia, and in 2009 Origins: Wolverine hits. He’s a man of the age of 40, but he doesn’t really show his age at all. He’s a sexy man, a great actor, a good husband and father, and he looks like one of those all around good guys. Here is one snipet from the interview in the magazine when asked how his wife took the news of his selection:
God bless her, she said, “I could’ve told them that years ago!” And then she said, “Obviously, Brad wasn’t available this year.” And I said, “That was a joke, right?”
Other men selected this year by People Magazine include Daniel Craig, John Hamm, Blair Underwood, Ed Westwick, Michael Phelps, Blake Shelton, Lang Lang, Mark-Paul Gosslear, Jaiver Bardem, Robert Pattinson, Joshua Jackson and David Beckham.
I think they really couldn’t have made a better choice. As a little bonus, check out these past posts of Hugh Jackman on Celebrity Today. I think they speak for themselves as to why he was selected for this year’s top spot.
