I've read all the books so far (been a fan for years), but I understand that it's insanely hard to transfer a book to the screen. I like all the changes they've made except for Sookie. I'm excited to see what the finale is going to be like and what the next season brings. Didn't think they'd introduce the "hog lady" so soon, but it makes sense. My favorite part had to be when Bill tried to talk back to Eric. I laughed so hard! Then when Eric was wrangling in Jessica so easily. Lord knows that chick's going to be something else if Eric's in charge. Once again, Sookie's my least favorite character, but that's okay. I've got the books to reread. I think Sam's really grown on me since the show first aired. The actor plays the character spot on and we get to see on screen what made him such a great character in books- well, barring this episode... lol I think you'll enjoy the books and I'm happy to hear there will be a second season.
