I'm way behind you though episode-wise, as Jim hasn't died yet where I am. Though it's sad, it doesn't come as much of a surprise - I knew something major would happen to him one day - it was just a matter of time. Maybe the actor that plays Jim has left the show, so the writers wanted to look for another way to keep the character in. I love Ghost Whisperer. I’m way behind you though episode-wise, as Jim hasn’t died yet where I am. Though it’s sad, it doesn’t come as much of a surprise - I knew something major would happen to him one day - it was just a matter of time.

Maybe the actor that plays Jim has left the show, so the writers wanted to look for another way to keep the character in.

Like all of the GW viewers, I loved Jim and Mel together, and its going to be interesting to watch this new relationship come to life now. But I must say, that I was once again surprised when Jim's soul entered into the accident victims body and then he didn't recognize Mel, but we will learn in next weeks episode that he does feel like he knows her. I have been a fan of this show since day 1, I was a little taken back when I read that Jim was going to die, not knowing where they where headed with this show.
