Movie Poster: Funny People
Word of the next comedy from Judd Apatow broke back in June. This one takes a look at the life of comedians with Adam Sandler in the starring role as George. In the film, he learns he has a year to live, and he hires an aspiring comedian to work with him and keep him company. Seth Rogen plays this part. Other actors in this one include Jonah Hill, Leslie Mann and Eric Bana.
Universal just released the first teaser poster for this one today. The movie is set for release in July 2009. Filming is currently on-going in Los Angeles. What do you think of this one?
It’s got the perfect cast, but the plot doesn’t sound funny at all.
In a late night talk show interview with Seth Rogen, he said that he lost quite a bit of weight to play this part. If it wasn’t for this role, he wouldn’t have lost the weight.
Wow… I’m actually really getting sick of Seth Rogen. He’s in absolutely everything, and he’s not even that good.
