The Fight Against Prop 8 Continues
More and more are speaking out in the battle to overturn Proposition 8 in California. Last night, Keith Olberman gave a passionate statement on his show on MSNBC. He has just signed a new four year deal that will keep him on MSNBC. He isn’t gay, he has no one in his family who is gay, he focuses on the one thing that connects us all when it comes to marriage - love.
He compares the fight gays and their desire to marry are now having to the same battles slaves went through before African Americans were allowed to marry. Shockingly enough, African Americans were the strongest voices to get Proposition passed on election day. Check out the video of Olberman below.
