David Archuleta Set For Macy’s, Simon Speaks Out
It seems once Halloween passes, their is a big rush towards the holidays. First up, we have Thanksgiving, and we now know that David Archuleta is set to join a list of other celebrities making appearances at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Miley Cyrus was also added to the line up this week.
In other American Idol news, Simon Cowell has spoken out about his recent break-up with girlfriend, Terri Seymour to Fox News. He is on a different path than Terri. The American Idol judge has no desire for children or marriage. He is currently married to his job. He doesn’t see that changing.
Bottom line is I am married to my job. When people moan about been a celebrity, I think ‘Oh please, sort yourself out - it’s the greatest job in the world.’ I wake up daily thanking my lucky stars, but to throw marriage into that mix is not right. I have seen too many celebrity marriages that on paper make a great mix, fall apart through ego and just plain celebrity madness.
Rumor has it that before the couple broke up, Simon Cowell gave Terri $5 million in cash, and another $4.96 to buy a house in Beverly Hills. Not a bad way to break up.
