News out of Los Angeles today is that best selling author Michael Crichton has died at the age of sixty-six. The man is responsible the creation of ER, and he is the man behind several movies including Jurassic Park. His books made the source for many great movies.

A movie based on his book The Andromeda Strain was seen earlier this year on A&E. The movie didn’t too well ratings wise, but no one can dispute that Crichton was one of the best writers of this time period. His death was unexpected. He had fought a private battle against Cancer. My thoughts are with his family at this time.

That’s too bad. The world has lost a talented writer.
