Music Video: David Cook ‘Light On’
The first official music video from this year’s American Idol has hit today. David Cook won the American Idol thrown back in May, and his self titled post-American Idol album is due to hit stores on November 18th. The singer appeared this past weekend on Saturday Night Live, singing two songs.
Light On is the first single from the album. You can see the video for it below. What do you think of the song? I was a Cook fan this season, and when he won not many were expecting it. NO flippin WAY is Archangel the “real” american idol!!! the only people that like him are little teeny boppers that dont even comprehend the meaning of amazing. David COOK is AMAZING. He won AI by, must I repeat, 12 MILLION VOTES which he so RIGHTLY deserved. I mean, give me a break. Cookey’s also BEEN successful. now he’s 10 times more than Arch.

All of you need to get a clue and grow the hell up. It doesn’t matter who won and who didn’t. They both got contracts and appeal to radically different audiences.
Fighting over who won makes this about you and having to be right. It has nothing to do with the two Daves, who will both do just fine, no matter who charts highest or sells the most.
I was a huge fan of David Cook during Idol and was thrilled to see the music video of “Light On” which I love. He is an amazing and gifted singer and musician. Can’t wait for the cd in 10 days.
