Brothers and Sisters Episode 3-6

TV.com: Bakersfield - Nora tries to learn more about Ryan so she can beat Holly; Kitty & Robert wait for a birth mother
-
Recap & Review: Last wek, Justin and Rebecca decided to take matters into their own hands, and they brought their mother’s together to talk about the Ryan situation. Now we get to see what happens next. Nora has it in her head to go and meet the Lafferty family and talk to the husband and father to Ryan. Kitty comes to meet her mother just before she leaves, and she is waiting for a birth mother to pick her and Robert to raise her child. Nora decides to con Kitty into coming along with her. It doesn’t take long for Kitty to figure out her mother is up to something, and when she finds out what it is the women have words. Kitty still goes along with her though.
As for Rebecca, she is trying to get the three Walker brothers back together in time for Justin to celebrate receiving his one year chip from NA. Kevin and Tommy are still having their own problems from when Tommy fired Kevin from Ojai Food. The two still haven’t recovered from that, but Rebecca is hoping they can put aside their issues for one day for Justin’s sake. Sarah is working on finding herself a new job as well, and she might have found one that will let her work from home and be with her kids. The job interview process scares her though because it is something she hasn’t had to do in a long time. She moves forward though because she knows she needs to find a new job.
While Kitty and Nora are heading to Bakersfield, the two women hear that Robert is visiting the Middle East. He told Kitty he was going elsewhere. This bugs Kitty, and Nora suggests that he might have been hiding something. She then goes a step further and tells Kitty that Robert might be turning her against her family. This causes another argument between the mother and daughter. Nora is comparing Kitty and Robert to her and William. This is a comparison that Kitty resents. In the middle of the argument, they are met by George Lafferty. This immediately quiets them both down.
As for the rest of the family, Sarah’s interview seems to go well until the very last question. She is asked what US President she would like to meet. Her answer draws some kind of red flag out for one of the men interviewing her, and their meeting quickly ends. Meanwhile, Tommy and Kevin show up just moments late to Justin’s own meeting, and when they meet out in the hall they end up in their own fight. This family always seem to be fighting lately. The two brothers finally end up inside the meeting while Justin is speaking.
Nora does tell George Lafferty about the affair his wife had, and the man throws her and Kitty out. On the way back home, Nora has Kitty stop the car and she screams her frustrations to the air. While they are sitting, she checks her voicemail and gets the exciting news that a mother has chosen her and Robert to meet. They might have a baby on the way. The whole family comes together, and Justin once again takes matters into his own hands. He stages his own intervention with his brothers. He tells them to fake it until they can work out their issues. At least then the family can be around them. Justin has his own life to live, and Rebecca decides to move them to the next step, and she gives him her apartment key.
By the end of the episode, things start to fall into place. Sarah takes the job offer. Kitty tells Robert about the birth mother picking them, and George Lafferty comes to Nora. He is the one to figure out that Ryan might not be his son. The one thing about this series is that by the end of the episode everything is mostly settled, and we are left with one big bombshell to hold us over to next time. This week’s episode is really no different. We are closer to meeting Ryan Walker! What did you think of this week’s episode of Brothers & Sisters? To know what’s on TV daily, check here .
