Ellen Smacks Palin

ellenpalin.jpg

No, not literally, but Ellen Degeneres has used her talk show to lash out at the Vice Presidential candidate and her views on gay marriage. Sarah Palin has spoken out on the topic, and she has stated their should be a federal ban on gay marriage. This means the decision would not be left to the individual states. The Federal government would come in and state the law in this matter.

Ellen was angered by this, and she said she didn’t like it at all. She just married long time partner Portia de Rossi back in August, and she stated she would do this as soon as the gay marriage ban was lifted in the state of California. Proposition 8 is looking to reinstate that ban in the election that is now just two weeks ago. Take a look at the video of Ellen’s impassioned speech on her episode of Ellen that aired on Wednesday. Thanks to Ten Gossip for the video!

I don’t know if you saw this, but Vice Presidential Candidate, Governor Sarah Palin says she’s that in favor of a federal ban on gay marriage. Basically wants to change the constitution. So if you’re wondering, I’m sure you are, how I feel about this. I don’t like, I don’t like it. I don’t agree. Maybe it’s because I’m gay that I think we should all be equal. but I feel that we’re all equal.

    STUMBLED!

I can’t believe Palin would even publicly say such a thing, just another reason not to vote McCain.

Sarah Palin needs to learn what a Vice President actually does. She can’t change policy or law. So it’s a mute point what her opinions are anyway. She’s trying to win conservatives though because McCain can’t.

I think that gay marriage should not be banned in the US.

Anyone who makes the statement that they “tolerate” something is one scary individual! I say live and let live. Honest to god if they get into the White House I will have lost all faith in this country to use their brains. Do we want people sitting in judgment of us? What if they decided books should be banned or sodas disallowed. So with that small rant said, I do NOT tolerate this woman as dearly as I would love to see a woman in the White House, she is NOT the one.

Palin was a good idea for a pick because she has basically lost this election for mccain. All the better.

Good thing we can say what we believe in our free country. Even if we do not agree on the answer, we are free to say how we feel.
