First Look At Star Trek
Entertainment Weekly is giving all those Trekkies out there what they have been waiting for. News on the new Star Trek! Trek is on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week, and inside the issue we have some pictures of the cast in character. We had seen some of these faces in poster form before, but now we see them in action so to speak.
We have our first look at the villian Nero played here by Eric Bana, as well as the space ship and her crew that are at the center of this Star Trek. Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto are on the cover as Kirk and Spock. This one takes place on the USS Kelvin before the USS Enterprise even exists. The Kelvin is attacked by the Romulans, and that is what puts this movie into motion.
This Star Trek is coming to us from the mind of JJ Abrams, who is behind this season’s television hit Fringe and Lost, which is set to return in early 2009. Take a look at the new Trek below. Tell me what you think!
