Even with four movies coming out this week, not one of them was able to top the box office this weekend. That is one big shock, especially with the star power we had behind one of those new entries this weekend. Dicaprio and Crowe were set to take the number one spot with their new one, Body of Lies, but that one didn’t even come in second place. On the top of the heap this weekend, Beverly Hills Chihuahua stayed on top with $17.2 million in earnings. Horror flick managed to bit out Leo and Russell to come in second place with $14.2 million. Playing in even more theaters than Quarantine, Body of Lies managed to come in third place with $13.1 million.

This weekend, we should see the dog taken to the pound and away from the number one spot since we have some new blood coming in. Two highly anticipated movies make their release this weekend, W. and Max Payne. Sex Drive also hits theaters this weekend. I predict Max Payne with Mark Wahlberg to hit the number one slot with W. coming in second place. We’ll see if that is how it ends up panning out. On DVD, this weekend belongs to Indy as the next movie hits DVD, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

This might not be the last time we see Indiana Jones. Yes, Indiana Jones 5 is already being talked about. No idea what the plot would be for that one if it comes out, but with how well this one did they want more. I think the fans do as well. What do you think?
