Earlier this week, Esquire magazine picked actress Halle Berry as their choice for the sexiest woman alive . Now Cosmopolitan has jumped in with their own choice for sexiest man alive. Johnny Depp was chosen to top the poll. At the age of forty-five, he is still one hot ticket, and he is set to work on several new movies in the near future including the new Alice in Wonderland and a fourth installment to the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

Four out of the top five in the Cosmo poll are over the age of forty. The youngest is actor Jake Gyllenhaal at the age of 27. It seems that the age of forty doesn’t mean you’re over the hill anymore.
