How many have heard the song I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry? The song was just about everywhere over the summer. I know it was overplayed on my radio stations. Katy Perry made quite the name for herself by wanting to kiss everyone from Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson and Miley Cyrus. Now someone has made a parody of that hit song just perfect for Halloween.

This one is called I Killed A Girl by the Master of Metal. He reminds me of Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne with just a bit of Meat Loaf. Just a little bit. Happy Halloween to all my readers out there. Recap & Review: This week, Supernatural returns to the plot for this season with Castiel and Dean’s return from hell. The past few weeks, the focus has been elsewhere. The series, in many ways, returns to its roots, and I did enjoy that. Simple and easy. The brothers had a case to fight, and that was it. No angels or demons. No mysterious powers that Sam has. This week, Halloween is a focus of the series, and the episode starts with a mother bringing home candy for the day. The woman’s husband eats some of it, and he swallows four razor blades. He dies almost instantly.

This brings in Sam and Dean on the case. The next strange death that happens is at a party where a girl bobs for apples. In the process, the water heats up and she drowns. Sam figures out what is happening. Another demon is about to be unleashed. One more death and Samhain will be raised from hell. The brothers need to find the witch responsible, and they believe that they do that. However, this is when they see Castiel and another angel. Unless Samhain is stopped, another seal will be broken. In order to stop, the angels plan to destroy the town and they need Dean and Sam out of it before they can do that. However, Dean convinces the angels that he and Sam can do it.

Sam thinks they found the wrong person though. The witch might be the teacher they met at the school. That night, they find him in the middle of spell, and they kill him. However, they were right in the first place. The witch was the girl. In fact, both of them were witches, and now with the one dead he is the final sacrifice. The girl is able to release Samhain with the use of a spell. Once he rises, he kills the girl, but when Sam hides him and Dean with the use of blood masks, he leaves them both alone. Their next stop is the cemetery, and Sam wants to use his powers. Dean tells him not to though because the angels wouldn’t want him too.

At the cemetery, the demon locks in a group of teens in tomb where the dead comes to life. All very thriller like, but these aren’t looking to dance down dark streets. Dean stays behind to fight them, and Sam goes off to fight Samhain. He first tries to use the knife, but when this doesn’t work for him, he uses his powers. He rids the body of the demon, but at what cost. One of the angels comes to visit him, and he is angry that Sam used his powers to deal with Samhain. He also reminds him that it is the anniversary of his mother’s death. The angel threatens Sam on continued use of his powers. Castiel also appears to Dean, and he learns the angels had been ordered to follow anything Dean said as a test. A test he passes. The first of many he will face.

Even with the return of the angel and hell plotline, this series stuck to what made it great. The brothers working together to destroy a demon. They do this successfully, but it still fit with the plot. This series is different than last year. It has more of what made me love the show to begin with. Keanu Reeves seems to be the man of the moment. He has a new movie set for release in December, and he’s been spending his days in Los Angeles at the courthouse on a paparazzi case. This month, he is also the man on the cover of Details magazine for their Holiday 2008 issue.

In the interview, the journalist is taken inside the life of Keanu Reeves, and his favorite book store, Book Soup. He even traded books with the man who directed The Day The Earth Stood Still. This is something you might not expect of the man who made the word whoa a household word long before Joey Lawrence did. He is actually somewhat of a stealth genius! Yet, he still likes the word dude, and you might even hear him say whoa. You learn something new every day.

No, dude is an excellent word. I won’t take it personally. I had a great run with dude.

A devil has come out just in time for Halloween. Fans of Jersey rocker Bruce Springsteen will like this one I think. He has released a free download on his site just for Halloween. TV.com: Life During Wartime - The chief gives Bailey new power and responsibility. He also gives her a very difficult surgical assignment: remove a girl’s inoperable tumor. Meanwhile, new trauma chief Owen (Kevin McKidd) challenges the attendings’ methods and the residents’ skills.

Recap & Review: Things are about to change drastically at Seattle Grace Hospital with the addition of a new doctor to the staff. Kevin McKidd officially joins the cast this week after an appearance that turned heads, especially Cristina’s. He is now on staff with Seattle Grace, and in this first appearance he is teaching the interns and residents how to save lives quickly by using pigs. There is a note at the start of the episode that says no animals were hurt in the process of this episode, but he does make you wonder. Yang continues to try to hide from him after the kiss they shared. Lexie is ignoring George, Hahn calls Callie her glasses, and Alex and Izzie are already having trouble in their one week relationship. Nothing is ever boring or easy when it comes to these doctors and their love lives. Oddly enough, the only ones truly happy right now are Derek and Meredith. Talk about a switch.

Once Izzie sees what Owen has done to the pigs, she walks out of the lesson. Owen doesn’t even show that he recognizes Cristina after they kiss. Izzie thinks Owen is a monster, and she tells Derek that he disgusts her. Yang is stuck with all of the pigs when there is a trauma call that comes in. Owen is already shaking things up, and he has barely been there a day. Meanwhile, Bailey is trying to do the impossible, operate on an inoperable tumor of a little girl. She brings Grey in on her team, and she gives Hahn no other choice than coming in. Hahn is having her own issues though because now she knows she is gay, but Callie isn’t so sure. She even sleeps with Sloan again to test a theory.

With the help of Anatomy Jane, Meredith comes up with a plan to operate. A plan that they all move forward to complete. They will remove five of her major organs. Meanwhile, Grey knows something is up with Chief, but he denies it. He can’t even look at her though. Could it be Anatomy Jane? She used to carry the doll with her at the hospital when she was a child. Is this reminding him of his past affair with her mother? Could be possible! As for Derek, he has issues with Owen’s tactics, but once again the Chief won’t listen. His focus is on the surgery of the little girl. Yang’s focus is on the pigs. Lexie has even named them, and one does end up crashing. This is not acceptable because Yang was left in charge, and she was told to keep them all alive. She ends up opening Wilbur.

The surgeries are never boring at Seattle Grace. All the operating rooms are busy. Bailey figures out a plan for the little girl, and Yang finds what the problem with the pig is. Izzie also stands up to Owen for God’s creatures. All are saved. Torres figures out that sex is amazing for her no matter who she sleeps with. However, Sloan tells her that with Erica not knowing Callie is sleeping with him. Once Owen is confronted by Shepherd and Sloan, he then returns to his pigs. They have all survived, and this is where Yang draws the line. He tells her to terminate them all, and she walks out. She finally ends up doing it though. The pigs would suffer needlessly. By the end of the episode, Torres has come clean with Eric about sleeping with Mark, Alex and Izzie have decided to go steady, and Meredith finds another box full of her mother’s diaries. How much can one woman write?

We can see just with this one episode that Owen is really set to shake things up. I think he is a great addition to the cast of Grey’s Anatomy. No one really likes him, so that adds conflict with the staff. This is something that adds spice to any series. Spice is something that has been lacking a bit when it comes this show, but they do seem to be headed in the right direction now. What did you think of this week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy? Yahoo! Movies has given us an even better look at The Day The Eath Stood Still. The trailer that I mentioned on this blog back in July really only gave us a small idea of what this movie was about. Not good enough then, but now we can see what happens when an alien life force comes to earth and is ready to destroy it. Alien invasion is a popular topic of television shows and movies, but this one has me excited now. I’m a fan of both Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly, and I happen to think they were both perfect choices for their roles. This looks like a good remake. One of the rare ones. TV.com: Ugly Berry - Betty has a competition with Kimmie. Ignacio decides to vote for the first time ever. Hilda takes advantage of the election traffic to be able to promote her shop. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina tries to hire a new financial officer whom Daniel hates.

Recap & Review: Lindsay Lohan has come in and turned Betty’s world upside down as Kimmie Keegan. She has moved higher up in the ranks than Betty has in the entire time she has been there. She is now an associate editor while Betty is still an assistant without a business card. Kimmie has come in and changed things. She’s made friends with Daniel and everyone else already. As for Daniel, his mother tells him and Wilhelmina that Meade Publications is in trouble. She says they need a person in charge of finances before Meade goes under.

Betty finds her voice finally, and she decides to pitch an idea for an issue of Mode. She stumbles over it, but she still manages to get the job. With the help of her father, she finds the tico berry as her fruit of choice. It also happens to be the fruit of choice of model Adriana Lima, and this lands a huge deal for Mode. Adriana will be their cover girl, and Betty will be the point person on the shoot. This also leads Daniel to cut Kimmie’s part of the issue out. Score one for Betty. Now its war.

This deal even lands Betty a spot on fashion television, and Kimmie offers to help her out. She messes with the lighting, and this ends up having Betty mess up. Kimmie comes in to save the tv spot, and Wilhelmina and Daniel bring her in to help Betty with the cover. Kimmie wants Betty gone before the shoot. Gone for good. As for Meade, Wilhelmina is working to find the company a new CFO. She thinks she has found one, Conor Owens, but he and Daniel have a heated past together it seems. Daniel won’t listen to her bringing him, and he won’t listen to Betty when she mentions her issues with Kimmie either.

Amanda and Mark both approach Betty about getting Kimmie fired, but she decides to take the high road.  That is until Kimmie gets ahead with Adriana Lima.  When Kimmie calls her just someone’s assistant, Betty joins forces with Amanda and Mark, and she goes into war mode. They figure out to remove the necklace Wilhelmina brought in for the shoot. Kimmie will be the one to do it, and this will cause her problems. As for Wilhelmina, she brings in Conor Owens, and I think we have found the one person that Daniel hates more than Wilhelmina. On the way to the shoot, Daniel surprises Wilhelmina by calling Conor and offering him a job with Meade.

At the photo shoot, Kimmie goes head to head with Wilhelmina, and she lose her job in the process. Betty did have a change of heart and tried to warn her, but Kimmie wouldn’t listen. As her final act, Kimmie throws out the tico berries they need for the shoot just before Adriana Lima arrives. Betty does remember there was tico berries in the gift box she left her, and this is the berry they use in the shoot.

As for Betty’s family, most of the action surrounds the upcoming election. Ignacio is voting for the first time, and Hilda is running an election special. However, when the last client of the night comes in she gets a lesson in the law. One that will shut her down for a bit. Talking of shutting someone down, what is up with Conor and Daniel? Did these two just pull one on Wilhelmina. We will have to wait and see. This was a good episode for Ugly Betty, and we see the exit of Lindsay Lohan it looks like. She was never much of a fit with the show. Conor’s entrance now has me curious. What is Daniel up to? We’ll find out next week! What did you think of this week’s episode? Transporter 3 is set for release on November 26, but Lionsgate has just released this new image from the movie. Jason Statham is one underrated actor, but he is definitely one of the sexiest. What is up next for the actor? Just in the last week, he has bagged a role to star in the remake of a French thriller, 13. The film will also star Mickey Rourke and Sam Riley. This one comes to us from Paramount Vantage, and production on the feature will start in New York City on November 17. 50 Cent also makes an appearance in this one, which is quite curious! Check out the new Transporter 3 image below!

Christina Aguilera is getting ready to release her greatest hits CD next month. The CD will be released exclusively to Target stores, and now her new music video for the title track to the CD has made its debut exclusively online at iLike. That is the only place you can see the video right now.

Keeps Gettin’ Better has a definite science fiction feel to it, and it is a fun video. That is what we are calling it here now. Twilight is getting closer and closer to its release date, and fans are becoming more and more anxious about the smovie as the days pass on. The movie just premiered this week in Spain, the stars are all over magazines everywhere, and this really is just the beginning.

I’ll keep you posted here in the days and weeks to come on all the new developments as they happen. Things have been a bit slow here this week due to the flu hitting me hard, but I’m back on the mend. This week, a new poster and a new International trailer for Twilight were released.
