Thoughts On Heroes Season 3 Premiere

This series is now all new. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with Heroes since it began. I haven’t been able to watch a complete season. I’ve tried to get into it. I’m just not sure why I can’t seem too. Season two fell short, and even fans of the series stopped watching. The creators have promised a change with this new season.
In this episode, we have a Peter from the future, a Nathan that comes back to life after being shot and declared dead, a Claire captured by Sylar, and we finally might know the secret behind the creation of the heroes. However, Hiro is asked to watch over it, and within moments he loses the very thing he is supposed to protect. All of this is just the first thirty minutes.
We see Nathan return from death with a new faith and a message from God. He is now the second coming. Mohinder uses Maya to further his research, and with her he finds the code that gives them powers. Sylar is also trying to use Claire once he has her. He wants her power. However, he can’t kill her. She can never die. Once Sylar has her power, neither can he. Mohinder gives himself powers, and he turns into a type of spiderman.
By the end of the second hour, we see what the mission of this season is. To stop the villains released. These are the heroes that Noah has spent his life capturing. They are now loose in the world, and Peter is inside the body of one of them. Even with all of this, I can’t seem to find myself getting into this series. What is about Heroes that makes people tune in? I find myself waiting for the episode to be over, and I was thinking that would change with the new season. Why do you watch Heroes?

When Heroes first started, we watched the first three episodes and then gave up. I found the writing and dialog to be annoying and that killed it for me. The plots, from what I hear, might be intriguing, but I could just never get into the show. So that’s why I don’t watch Heroes.
