TV.com: The Bubble - Annie, Harry, and Debbie are surprised to learn that West Beverly’s theater director can no longer oversee the school musical. Kelly persuades Brenda to take over as the play’s director, but they end up arguing over Kelly’s involvement with Ryan. Meanwhile, Dixon tries to get a part time job at the Peach Pit and Naomi confronts her father’s mistress.

Review: 90210 continues moving forward this week. Behind the scenes we’ve learned that Jennie Garth will stay around for a few more episodes, but it doesn’t look like Shannen Doherty will. Garth had originally signed on for just a handful of episodes in the new series, but now she is signing on for another handful. Kelly has been interesting to see. She is a single mother raising a four year old little boy, who looks to be the son of her and Dylan. Brenda even tells us it is him this week. We finally know!

This week’s episode starts with the school musical losing their head. They need someone new to come in and run the production. Annie is in the musical still, and her grandmother offers to step in, which no one seems to be too happy about. Kelly and Brenda are continuing to reunite, and we learn more about her relationship with Ryan. The teacher seems to be a bit nosey, but Kelly doesn’t give him much, especially when questions about Sammy’s father come up. He even tries to talk to Brenda, but that doesn’t help him. In fact, it only ends up angering Kelly.

As for Annie’s love life, she is still between Ethan and Ty. She decides to go out with Ethan one night, but then Ty asks her out for the same night. She doesn’t change her plans. Annie’s grandmother is in charge of the musical, and from the very beginning she is a problem. Not only with Annie, but with Harry as well. Harry then goes to Kelly who goes to Brenda to bring her in to help. Something that Annie’s grandmother doesn’t seem to appreciate much.

As for Dixon, he starts working at the Peach Pit. Nat is still there! However, Dixon is working for more than wanting to look good. He owes money, and he needs it quick. He is also getting closer to Silver as time goes on. The job might cause a problem with his studies. Naomi learns that the woman her father is sleeping with doesn’t live out of town. In fact, she just moved into the family beach house. Naomi finds this out when she confronts her at her job. Apparently Naomi’s mother had no idea. Naomi and Silver seem to be starting to rebuild a friendship as well. Silver opts not to post about the affair Naomi’s dad is having on her blog. Annie apologizes to Ty, and Naomi wants Ethan back. Does he want the same? We will have to see what happens next week.

This series has as many twist and turns as the original, but I’m fully pulled in. We finally have some answers to some important questions including who is the father of Kelly’s son. No real shock there. Hopefully someone can talk Luke Perry into making an appearance. What did you think of this week’s episode?
