A Look At - Angelina Jolie
What is it that you think of when you think Angelina Jolie? Is it her movies? Is it her relationship with Brad Pitt? Is it her children, both hers and the ones that she has adopted over the years? Is it her humanitarian work and the money she donates to charities? Some might look at all of it. Some might focus on the one. Every single person is different. These days Angelina Jolie seems to be a hot ticket. This is mostly due to the events in her personal life.
Just giving birth to twins this summer, everyone was fighting over pictures of the two babies. A man even went so far as to go onto her property in France military style just to capture the twins and the family on film. Word has it that the man crawled around for five hours just for the right to claim those pictures as his own. It is incidents like this that make me think when a celebrity lashes out at the press, taking their cameras and smashing them to bits is okay. Not that I condone violence, but there has to be a line somewhere with what they should be able to do.
The paparazzi follow celebrities like their lives are any different than ours. They eat and sleep like we do. They are just people. Yes, they do something that gives them a bigger paycheck, but they are still just people. I remember first seeing Angelina Jolie in Hackers. She broke onto the scene as a computer hacker. Then there came roles in Foxfire, her turn as Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider movies, Gia, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and a list of other movies in between and still to come. Angelina Jolie used to be considered a wild child, but since parting ways with Billy Bon Thornton and becoming a mother she has settled down somewhat.
Her movie career has slowed down a bit, but she has a new movie set for release in the near future. This one being the next release from Clint Eastwood. Check out the trailer for the movie below. this movie looks more interesting than i thought. i didn’t know it was clint eastwood-directed. looks like angelina really gets a change to show her stuff. i think of her humanitarian work before her acting though. not that she isn’t a good actress, but it seems like she is more proud of her activism, whereas acting is more play and make-believe for her. i’ve thought she was good in some films but i’ve never been blown away by her in a movie. it’s like her status as angelina jolie is more powerful than any role she could play.

Angelina, by far, is one of the most beautiful and talented actresses to ever grace the screen. She has the ability to morph into many different characters and make you like them. The movie, by far, is going to show her best acting ability because she is a mother. I can’t wait to see it!
