So You Think You Can Dance: The End

For the past two and a half months, So You Think You Can Dance has taken us on a roller coaster ride of emotions and dance. We’ve seem some amazing performances, some shocking eliminations and above all a very talented group of dancers. Each and every dancer that made the top twenty this year had the potential to make it to the end, but that honor has gone to four. The four that have captured America’s attention. They might not be the four best dancers, but they have the entire package when it comes to dance technique and personality.
During this last show, we are taken back to see some of the best performances this season as chosen by the judges. We see all the dancers dance together again, and then the couples as well when the judges pick their favorite performances. Not only that, but we have all the choreographers in attendance. Six of them take the stage. We have a dance battle between two who are called the two best poppers, and special appearances by Criss Angel’s Believe and The Jonas Brothers. As with most finales, we have a lot of filler for two hours. We even see the judges perform as Mary and Nigel each take the stage for a performance.
Halfway through the show, we see one dancer eliminated. That dancer is Courtney. This was truly no surprise here. Courtney has a wonderful personality on the dance floor, but when it comes to skill and technique the other three have her beat. This put the competition between Katee, Joshua and Twitch. After some more performances, we see another dancer go. This one shocked me a bit, but we see Katee eliminated next. She is the best female in this competition, and she will go far. The $50,000 dollar prize she earned for being the top girl will help.
This leaves Joshua and Twitch as the final remaining dancers. Neither have much dance training professionally, but they have both stepped up to the challenge here this season. I enjoy them both. However, only one of them can win the title of America’s favorite dancer, the $250,000 prize, and the role in a upcoming movie as an added bonus, and this year that all goes to Joshua. He has stepped up time again, and he deserved to win. Do you think America made the right choice? Check below for a few list of songs used on the finale.

I was so glad Joshua won (that two hours of dialing paid off I guess!), but I did feel for Twitch. Hopefully he can find a dancing job and avoid the Navy!
Did not get to see final show. The fox channel in Chicago had the football game on. Will it be aired again? If so, date, time and channel.
