Let’s Do The Time Warp Again
Word from Variety today is that there is another remake in the mix, and if you can guess by the title, that remake is for Rocky Horror Picture Show. If it happens, it would be released on Halloween 2009, and we might even have some new songs to go along with it.
Now this one has me bothered. Rocky Horror is a classic movie. A cult classic, but still it is something a generation and beyond has clung to. It is one of those movies I just don’t think should ever be remade. I’m hoping it isn’t, but it sounds like there is a good chance it might be.
What do you think? Good decision or bad?

I say no no no. A remake would be terrible, they always seem to be. It will kinda destroy the original. It never seems the same. Example: Grease was a huge hit in the day. After my daughter watched Grease 2 (which she enjoyed) all I could do was shake my head. When I had her watch the original she understood why. Remakes usually dont turn out well at all to those who grew up with the originals.
