Breaking News: Batman Behind Bars
There is word out of London this morning that Christian Bale has been arrested. He turned himself, and he was taken into custody for questioning on charges made by his mother and older sister. It is being said that Bale assaulted them back on Sunday. They went to the police on Monday, but they asked him to come in today. The premiere for The Dark Knight was in London on Monday night. No formal charges have been made yet. Bale is just being questioned at this time. This is a developing story. Any new information comes in, it will be here at Celebrity Today!
EDIT @ 10:57am: Apparently, Bale was asked to come in for questioning for yelling at his mother. Yes, in London you can be arrested for verbal assault. He has bailed himself out of jail, but he has to return in September to deal with this matter.
Say it ain’t so! Christian yells at his mom? I’m crushed now. Seriously, at least he went in and didn’t have a crazy car chase all over the UK.
