Bale out, Riley In?
That is the news now. Over the weekend, news broke that it looked like Christian Bale was getting ready to sign on for the role of Robin Hood in Ridley Scott’s Nottingham. This would put him up against Russell Crowe on the big screen again, but now it looks like Bale won’t be putting on the tights and costume of Robin Hood after all. Crowe actually wants Sam Riley for the part, and some are saying what Crowe wants he will get.
I’m actually glad Bale isn’t getting this role. As much as I enjoy his work, there are only so many big roles one man can play. He’s played Batman. He is John Connor. Robin Hood would be just laying it on way too thick. In other movie news, fans received a sneak peak of G.I. Joe this week, and it looks like we have a full title for the film. G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra.
This follows the release of another sequel name late last week as Transformers had its official name released, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. I’m not sure about the G.I. Joe flick. I was a fan of the cartoon, but cartoon doesn’t always translate well to live action.

It’s starting to seem as if I have a crush on everyone, but I would SO make out with Christian Bale!! Robin Hood or not…

Hah Haute! I agree with you. Bale is on my make-out list too. Too bad, he isn’t single in LA. If he was, watch out!
