Spiderman Is Coming
News out of Hollywood this weekend is that we have Spiderman 4 coming in 2011. May 2011 in fact. The script is still in the works, and Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi have not signed on for the project yet, but Sony wants to move forward with it anyway. May 2011 will be a month for Marvel. That month will also have the release of The First Avenger: Captain America. Some had said we would have a sneak peek of Captain America in the recent Incredible Hulk, but there was no Captain America to be found.
In other movie news, Christian Bale is in talks to appear as Robin Hood in Ridley Scott’s Nottingham. Batman, John Connor and now Robin Hood? What will play Bale next? God? Only time will tell. He seems to be picking up all the prime roles in Hollywood right now.
Bale has not officially signed on to Nottingham, but a decision by him should be made soon. Costuming for the feature will start in the weeks ahead. Ridley Scott is known for his science fiction films, but his last venture into this genre, The Andromeda Strain, flopped big time with viewers when it aired on A&E last month.

I hope that they get Yobey Mcguire signed for the project soon. It would be difficult watching anyone else play the role.
