Terminator Rumors Fly
Rumors and updates from the Terminator 4 camp have been flying around the Internet this week. We’ve had one major cast change, and an update from McG himself on what is happening on set. One major rumor has put the fans in an uproar about what will happen at the end of the start of the new Terminator trilogy. Let’s talk about the news first. The face of Kate Connor has changed. Charlotte Gainsbourg had to leave the cast due to a possible scheduling conflict that might prevent her from appearing in another movie she committed to. If an actor’s strike starts up later this month, production on Terminator 4 could halt and restart at a later date. Bryce Dallas Howard known for roles in The Village and Spiderman 3 has come in to play the wife to John Connor played in this film by Christian Bale.
As for the rumor flying around the net at the moment, it is said that the main character of this film is a terminator named Marcus. At the end of film, Marcus and John fight it out, and John dies. In order to keep the resistance movement alive, those involved place John Connor’s skin on the exoskeleton of the terminator. This would just blow things away if it is true, but according to a one line mention in this week’s update from McG, the rumors are just that - rumors. Only three people know how this film will end. We have to hope that this rumor is definitely not true. As a fan of the series, I would hate to see John and his character ruined in such a way. Production is now in week five in New Mexico.
In an unrelated sidenote on the rumor front, there has been a huge rumor causing trouble for one entertainment news source this past week. Back on Friday, Entertainment Tonight broke the story that Angelina Jolie had given birth to her twins. The Associated Press ran with the news. Everyone wants to know when these two new little people enter the world. There is a battle going on right now for the first picture rights for the twins. However, Angie and Brad have not yet added to their growing family. The story proved to be not true, and Entertainment Tonight continued to back their story, even after Brad was seen off at a race in Italy over the weekend. Definitely not the place you would think to see a new father of twin premature babies. In Hollywood and following celebrities, a lot of things that come up turn out to be just rumor and speculation. When you’re wrong, say you’re wrong. People make mistakes. This one might have cost Entertainment Tonight though. If it turns out to be true, that is an entirely different story. Angelina Jolie turns 33 today.
My initial reaction to the Terminator buzz was “say it aint so!” Hollywood, clearly doesn’t listen to me.

to bad, I would have like to see it play out more on T.V. to but some momentum instead of being a season long promo for the big screen.

As far as Angelina Jolie she is still pregnant….at least according to the news story I read this morning. This one says that ET knew the report of the babies was a fake before they even aired the story. But since they aired it they are sticking with it. Someone claimed to be Jolie’s assistant when in fact they were not. ET needs to own up to the mistake they made!
I hate when a TV show is just a commercial for something else. SO right CHATO!
