New Voyage Of The Dawn Treader Stills

If you are fan of The Chronicles Of Narnia, then do I have something for you. The next film in the series, The Chronicles Of Narnia: Voyage Of The Dawn Treader is not set for release until December 2010, but we have your first look at the movie now with some stills that leaked earlier this week.

Ben Barnes returns in this one. This time as King Caspian. No more Prince title for him. Shooting of this third installment just wrapped up in the last week or so in Brisbane, Australia! Makes you wonder why we have to wait so long for the release.

Check out the two new stills below! What do you think? Will you be checking out Voyage of the Dawn Treader?

John Mayer In Detail

John Mayer is the spotlight again lately, and this time it isn’t for the on-off relationship he has had with Jennifer Aniston. He has a record out this month called Battle Studies, and the first two songs released from it definitely earned him some attention. The video for Heartbreak Warfare was trippy. That is the only word that could describe it.

Now the singer appears on the cover of Details Magazine. The issue doesn’t hit newsstands until December 1st, but we have a look at the pictures and the interview he did with the magazine here. At thirty-two, the singer is still very much at the beginning of his career.

Check out his music video for Heartbreak Warfare along with some of the details photo shoot below. What do you think?

What if I had a booth on the street and I said, ‘Attention everybody who hates me: If you have a problem with me, I’m ready to hear your gripes! I will be outside the Barneys store on 60th Street from two to four this afternoon…I will only be speaking to people who do not like me. Come out and let me have it.’ How many people do you think would be standing there?…Ze-ro.

New Posters For Avatar & Salt

While many are out shopping this morning, looking for the best Black Friday deals, I have some new movie posters for you! We have a new poster for Salt, and one more new one for Avatar. Salt is the next one from Angelina Jolie, and the movie isn’t set for release until this coming summer, but from the little I’ve seen it is going to be an amazing action packed movie.

As for Avatar, the release for that is a bit closer. December 18th is just around the corner here in the US, and some countries get it earlier. This next one from James Cameron is definitely a must see in the eyes of many, including mine. The new poster features Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.

Are you ready for Salt & Avatar to hit the big screen? Which of the two are you planning to see? Check out the new posters below.

Happy Thanksgiving From Celebrity Today

Published by Regina Avalos under Admin Edit This

If you live in the US, then right about now you are waking up to celebrate this holiday with your family. You might be waiting for football, watching Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, and getting the bird ready to go in.

A year and a half ago when I started this blog, I never imagined still being here writing it all this time later. This blog has had its ups and down, but I am thankful for each and every visitor that has stopped by. Those that have come to leave comments with their thoughts, and those that just flash by on their way to the next site.

I enjoy sharing the things I can with you here, and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. To all those that celebrate this day, have a very Happy Thanksgiving from me and my family.

Sexy New Posters & Trailer For Nine

Nice is set for release over Christmas, and people have literally been waiting for this one with the cast involved. Everyone from Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman and Fergie are involved in this new musical film from Rob Marshall. The same man behind Chicago.

A trailer for the film was released earlier this week, and now we have three sexy posters featuring the stars of the movie looking hotter than ever. I know I’ve been personally waiting to see this one if only to see Kate Hudson sing. Rumors are she doesn’t have that bad of a voice.

Nine hits theaters in a limited release on December 18th before going nationwide on Christmas Day. You can check both the new posters and sexy new trailer for Nine below. What do you think? Has Rob Marshall scored another hit? Or is this one set to be a dud? Will you be heading to theaters to see Nine?

The Crow Returns, Universal Soldier Trailer

When it comes to my favorites of the past, I always cringe just a little when I see remakes being talked about. There is buzz in Hollywood about a possible reboot for The Crow, even bringing Eric Draven back. That first movie was fifteen years ago this year, and we all know the story behind it. How Brandon Lee died during the shooting of the movie when he was shot by a gun that was supposed to have fake bullets in it. He died, but the movie went on, and it became a cult classic. One that spawned several sequels, and even a television series. Now we might get a whole new Crow with Draven as the main character. Not sure how I feel about that at all. It is very much a touchy subject, especially with the history of Lee’s death attached to it.

Another one of those from years ago that is making a come back is Universal Soldier. One of those movies made popular by Jean Claude Van Damme. There were sequels for it, but the original was the best. Now we have yet another sequel. This one going straight to DVD on February 2nd. The trailer for that was released this week. Check it out below. What do you think?

Celebrity Today Movie Report - 11/23/09

Published by Regina Avalos under DVD, Movies, Music Edit This

Here we are with another Monday upon us, and this week is very much a short week with the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday here in the United States. That means releases this week will happen on Wednesday. However, let’s take a look back at this weekend. It is no surprise here that New Moon topped the charts. The movie came out on top breaking both the midnight record and the opening day record made by The Dark Knight on the first weekend of its release. By the end of the weekend, New Moon had managed to bring in $140 million, which didn’t break The Dark Knight’s last record for best opening weekend. The Blind Side came in a distant second with $34.5 million.

This week, we have four new movies hitting theaters on Wednesday including Ninja Assassin and Fantastic Mr. Fox. Not only that, but we have several new releases to DVD and music wise too. On DVD, we have Angels & Demons and Funny People. Check out below for a full list of this week’s releases.

American Idol Billboard Boys

adam-lambert-kris-allen-billboard-cover.jpg

American Idol is still getting ready to start their new season in early 2010, and we know we have some big changes in store this year with Ellen Degeneres coming in as a judge, but we’re still focused on last season with the top two finalists in this year’s competition releasing their records this month. Adam Lambert is releasing his effort this week, and he is doing it up big with a performance of his single on tonight’s American Music Awards, which air on ABC.

This week, he and Kris and Allen are featured on the cover of Billboard Magazine. There is no denying that the series is a huge break and jumping off point for its contestants. Check out an interview of Adam with Billboard Magazine below. What do you think? Will you be picking up Adam’s CD this week? Have you plans to pick up Kris Allen’s?

Video Premiere: Janet Jackson’s Make Me

Back in September, we saw Janet Jackson take to the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards to pay tribute to her brother, Michael. Now she is making another comeback it looks like. This week, she released an all new music video for her latest single, Make Me.

The video is very similar in style to the video she made with her brother Michael for Scream. There is no denying that Michael’s little sister is still one very talented woman, and she has broken away from her family just like Michael did. However, it seems she didn’t share a lot of the same problems that he had growing up. She seems to be the more levelheaded of the Jackson family.

Check out her video below. What do you think?

ABC Sets Lost Premiere, Oprah Set To Retire

A big news day yesterday if you are a fan of television! First off, we have news of the date ABC will bring back Lost. 2010 will mark the start of the sixth and final season of the series. That date has been set for February 2nd. Where we will have a two hour season premiere to kick things off. Looks like we might be set for one amazing ending when this one returns with so many faces returning in this final season including Ian Somerhalder and Emilie de Ravin.

Also announced yesterday by Oprah is the end of her syndicated talk show. She will end her series in September 2011. The date currently set for the end is September 9th, 2011, which is the day after her twenty-fifth anniversary. Over twenty years, and it is time to bring it to an end. I haven’t watched in years, minus a few times when she had some of my favorite celebrities as guests.  Will you miss Oprah?
